I put the new ism in without watching any videos first. When I put it on it just went in to the shifter. Does that mean it’s all lined up? Or I gotta remove it and move the shifter
It just went into the shifter? Don’t understand the comment. And you mean you installed a used ism bcuz you can’t buy it new from dealership. It’s a trp
@@goharrisautomotive update I installed didn’t wanna start the car until I programmed it. Found a few local guys who all flaked before I took it to the dealer I figured fuck it. I started it and it shifts runs and drives perfectly 3 weeks now lol Also it wasn’t used and it’s not by trp. So no idea but I’ll have someone look at it when they program the new battery
hello please can you help me i have a benz w164 my ISM got damaged and every time i change it it works for some day and then same problem again i noticed that this happened after a rainy day. could it be a leakage problem if yes where to find it or it is something else ? Thank you i advance, best reguards
Since my dealer service department are crooks, I would need to tow my car to another state. Local dealer, I took in, they misdiagnosed, replace unbroken parts, when I brought back with same problem, they said I had water in oil, it didn't it has UV dye, said I had wrong oil and filter, I had MB approved oil and OEM filter. They wanted to do everything but fix my car racking up costs, despite diagnostics already been paid for in original bill.
If I did everything myself as far as removal & installing new part, NOT including programming, That it would still cost that much for whoever mercedes benz or yourself just to hook it up to a computer to reprogram it?@goharrisautomotive
