That’s exactly what it is. When you’re hatching eggs bought with robux. You want the best egg, so you’ll continue purchasing until you get it or you’re out of money. One or the other. It is gambling but since you’re still getting something equal to or greater than the amount you’re spending it’s legally not considered gambling which is stupid af.

pretty sure it was a glitch in the exclusive egg that made the titanic and huge chances really high. im guessing this was the reason they disabled eggs, and when they fixed the bug, they got rid of the exclusives the player hatched in the exclusive egg without a refund.

you left out the part when people copied pets, many people lost their expensive pets, especially the huge ones, because they traded with their normal pets and they got copied ones and they were later deleted, and big game didn't want to give back the pets that people were cheated on, I lost 100 dollars myself :/
Plus there was also the backdooring incident, where if you went into a trading server someone could just steal all of your pets and you could never get them back. A game with this many paid features shouldn't be this insecure... Even Adopt Me which isn't nearly as pay to win, has better anti cheat and security.

I used to be a huge pet sim 99 fan but the developers got lazy and started to add less and less areas, it also took them a long time to code a mailbox onto the game, we are still waiting on more stuff to be released like voting booth, trading terminal and more
Bro they can't add 10 new areas every update with pets and eggs in a week, it is literally impossible. It's a lot more difficult to code those things into the game in a week.

4:15 Here's some extra info about this egg thing: 1. The huge was didn't had it's percentage revealed for a very short period of time when the egg came out. The Roblox ToS has a rule where you can't have a chance of something hidden when it's behind a pay wall which is why it was changed after to show the percentage like in the video. 2. After the accident about the lies of the percentage, preston made it had a countdown until the egg was removed.
I mean pet sim 99 is now a great game, though soon enough it would turn more competitive as there is new huges and titanic and new F2P player would have hard time to catch up unlike those who played the pet sim x before.

I was one of the first people to play the FIRST Pet Simulator, and let me tell you. Before, it wasn’t truly about scamming, or toxicity. I played many of Big Games games ( Ironically ), I liked all of them, except Pet Simulator X, and 99. All I want to see is a decent and actually good game from Big Games that doesn’t truly involve many Gamepasses.

It's been normalised and has changed games on roblox so much that people think that it is okay for games to charge thousands of robux for a fraction of a chance to get something extremely mediocre. Actually you made the event seem better than they were! The hacked huge pet was not really a issue as that egg didnt cost robux it was just annoying you couldn’t see the chances and the misleading chances for the robux egg sure was scummy but where people really got mad was when a robux egg was released that had a “???” (Mystery chance) for the rarest pet which is quite literally illegal he then changed it to show the actual chance because people got so mad
I feel like people dont talk enough about how pet sim 99 a remake of pet sim x and still really pay to win but less than pet sim x because it has less updates
