Can you do a video explaining when wattage wise you need to upgrade electrical and what to upgrade at each stage?
always do the big 3 upgrade (look it up). upgrading your alt if over 1500 watts rms don't even bother looking at agm or lead acid just use lithium and if you use yinlong or headway cells they are by far a great start and safe to use. Yinlong 45ah banks are so powerful that is all you need for a battery in total starts your v8 up like nothing but i do advise to learn about them and I personally don't go smaller than 45ah yinlong and should be used in a daily driven vehicle.
@@AaronBilger thank you bro I was wanting to run about 2500 -3k rms on a ranger and I know how bad the 1500 rms system was without anything I blew that sub and wanted to go bigger and do it right this time instead of giving it dirty power you the goat!

2 Deaf Bonce 275's on a JP43. Autotech 370 amp alt, 2 D4S LTO 6.0 and I'm still breaking the subs in but I'm more worried that my Silverado is going to fall apart before the subs break in!

You sure about that? Because I have two jp23 v2 also and they were barely pushing my two sundown xv3 12s then I ordered a jp63 and all hell broke loose feel like I'm riding around with the Devil 😂😂😂

Thank you, JP for making this video! I currently am running that DB 4515r on my JP43 and it is amazing. I recently bought a JP63 and in the middle of doing the swap, (perfect timming for the video). I was wondering if it was going to he too much for the sub, but you answered that question. I can't wait to hear it on the JP63! After the installation, I will give my feedback on the JP63. I have no doubts it will be a great one
I put the jp23 on th db3515. You were right about it being to small but still very impressive. Ill be ordering the jp63 in the future after i do some electrical upgrades.
JP23 1.5 on a U12 v1 in a TLine enclosure... Love it.
I have 3 jp23s and a jp83 I love them I ran 2 jp23s strapped for a year on super low ohm and they did great I do have upgraded electrical you can't run amps low ohm without upgrade

I was in the market for upgrading my subs 8 months ago was going to go with sundown zv6 12’s but went with fi audio mt 12’s because it was cheaper than the zv6 but now I’ve noticed the zv6 are now 743.99. Oh well I’m very happy with my setup doing 10k rms
I have 2 xv2 15s on a 63 from JP and they handle very well, lots of 💪 flex I love your products especially the amps JP👍
If we have the salt 4 it's best to get the zv6.

Have you ever heard of American Bass? If not, you should look into their products. Especially the subwoofers because they fall in line with the subwoofers that you sell. It’s just a recommendation. Also…..will you have the D4Sound profab box built for the Solo X’s?

I would go with a way bigger amp for those subs. Running a single Sundown Audio 12" SA v.2 with a JP23v2 and I'm sure the sub could still take more. Above the sub i am using is the u-series , x-series, z-series and last NS-series.

Ive got 2 deaf bonce 3015s, what JP amp should i use, i have 2 mechman 370s, planning on using the jp40 possibly 2 and jp630 along with 4/0 sky high from under the hood to the trunk, then dual 1/0 runs from battery to amps, this is along with 2 JP234s for the mids and highs
I like 1 amp systems, what sub would you recommend for the jp 95? Also what sub for the jp77?
IMO, if using the Jp95 Sub Ch., it would match well with= 2- Crossfire C3s, 1- Crossfire C5, 1- Sundown U V1, 1- Sundown SA Classic, or 2- Sundown E, hope this helps?

Hello jp I have 2 xv2 12s 4 ohms, 400 amps alternator, 80AH AGM battery in the back, 0 ofc wire, I got excited and order a jp83, planning to get a jp40 and delete the battery, if I get 2 more xv2 4 ohms I have to wire at 0.5 ohms it going to be too much power? or can you give me a better idea in the upgrades Gracias Señor JP
If you do all of that electrical, & do big 3, plus frame grounds in back, with 3 runs of 0 gauge powers, & grounds? Then running your Jp83, @ 1/2 ohm, on 4- XV2 12s, will be a great match!

Just bought a Avatar STU 1246 from Down4Sound. Now im Amp shopping, what would you recommend??? I was thinking about going with the JP23.v2(2800w). The RMS on the Avatar is 3000watts obviously & im sure it will take more with that 4" VC. Also im picking up a 2.70cft enclosure next week, is that going to be to much for a sub that calls for 1.94cft?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated & thanks for your time

I will be running a jp8 with 1 12" sub sundown/down4sound prefab box and a jp95 running all my interior speakers all down4sound 4 sfx 6.5" and one sfx 8"
I have a sundown audio U-Series 12 V2 on a crescendo 1,500 watt amp and i feel like it's wayyy underpowered so my question is what prefab box can i throw it in and what amplifier would pair good with it
If your 1500 watt amp, is 1 ohm stable, & your wired to 1 ohm @ rest, its prob. only giving 2 ohm, to 4 ohm power, while music is playing? So between 400 to 800 watts, after impedance rise. If using a 1 ohm stable amp, & wired to 1 ohm, i suggest getting an amplifier, that can do 1500 watts @ 4 ohms, ( that is stable @ 1 ohm ), & wire to 1 ohm. This will let you account for impedance rise, & provide clean, headroom. IMO, i suggest a JP33, or Jp43, set conservatively. Enclosure= (1.75 cu. Ft., to 2.25 cu. Ft. Net, for 1-12"), tuned @ 34Hz to 38Hz, with 25 to 35 square inches of port area, if using pre-mentioned amplifiers!?
1:25 - what about strapping 2 of the 23v2s together for 1 Xv3 18?
That would be a great match, if your 1- 18" XV3 is a Dual 1, wired to 2 ohms strapped!? If your wired to 1 ohm strapped, you would have to be conservative with your settings/power output.
Whats up Jp ? Whens the d4s subs gonna drop .....got an empty dual 12 box waiting to go in my project truck ....like have subs match my amps ....was going go with 2 sundown sa classics .....but put that on hold ....hoping the d4s subs will drop in next couple weeks
Does Down4sound makes 5 channel amp,
I think they only make 6 and 7 but to be honest the sub channels can be bridged so you're still good.

I’m considering spending my hard earned money on a jp amp but I keep hearing about the faulty Bluetooth bass knob. I’m sure you’re aware of the issues with them, why hasn’t it been corrected? Is there another more dependable bass knob compatible for the jp33 and up?
Hi i purchased the resilient team 18 and it blew within not even 30 minutes of playing time it started smoking and then it shut off I'm truly saddened by this and talk to car audio fanatics and they said that resilient probably won't help me get a new one and have payment plans for the whole year for a sub that doesn't even work
@Bmx4620- What was/is your electrical system? Enclosure specs, net cu. Ft., port area, tune? What amplifier, & wired to impedance? Always give a company a chance. Im sure they will ask you these same questions, and ask for the original purchasers receipt, from an authorized RS dealer.

I have the deaf bonce 4518 on the new deaf bonce adam pro 12.5k amp . I had a 9k deaf bonce amp on it but it was not enough so i went to the 12.5k

Jp63, if you run 2- D2 ZVX 15s, @ 1/2 ohm? But if your set on running a 1.33 ohm load with the 3- ZVXs, then get the Taramps Big Boss 8k Bass amplifier.

I looked this morning and tons of packages were sold out..
So pick out some subs and a amp and you just made your own custom package. I mean it's not hard to figure out just saying...

@@jpmarx660 usually the package deals with subs already in boxes are lower model subs. They get the job done but you'll probably want to upgrade soon after so your literally gonna pay twice for something you could have originally started with. The loaded enclosure package could be perfect for you,it's all personal preference though.
Question: i bought a Sundown ZV6 12 inch its still in route to me and i had bought the JP23 V2 few weeks back since its rated 2800 watts Rms at 1 Ohm and the woofer is 2500 watts Rms would that still work or i need to increase amplifier?
The jp 23 will work but that sub can handle 3500 RMS easy on clean unclipped power

It will work but the zv6 can easily do close to double rms if the power is clean and not clipped

@joshholden8561 i have the 0 gauge RCA wires ran at the moment would those be fine too? Im running 2 kicker l7 for now on the JP23 until the ZV6 arrives. I had another question i had the 2 kicker L7s installed in my 1st car i was getting good lows out of them but since i changed cars i dont get any Lows out of the same setup do you know what could be the issue?
Are neo subs in a daily as sketch as some say?
Neo subwoofers are great for daily driving I don't recommend spl because they heat up faster than ferrite subwoofers I have one fi neo 4.11 18 and the sound quality is phenomenal but my fi hc 15s can take a beating all day long

I watched a jp 63 roast 2 nightshade subs was way way too much power wired to .5 these ppl putring 4 k and more on a xv3 i dont get it i had 2 xv3 12s that couldnt handle a taramp smart 5k in exact spec box tuned to 32 htz the smart 5k was clamping 8500 watts at times and the subs would bottom out and they was bought new installed in a double baffle 1 inch thick 6 cube box . And more lithium than was needed and. Great voltage id take a avatar stu over a xv3 any day

1 jp 83 per sub for sure. This video is geared towards specs and not real world applications my teamates are putting 1 jp 83 per sub on those ddns

@@1HotLegendLS - Nobody seems to mention, wired to ohm load, when suggesting an amplifier. Wiring to 1/2 ohm, on a 1 ohm stable, half bridge amp, will give 2x the actual power, after impedance rise, vs the same amp., wired @ 1 ohm. Also, don't get discouraged. As long as your enclosure is built right, it will sound amazing. I would recommend the New Jp93, wired @ 1/2 ohm if you have the electrical.
