- Could this be the best RV Campsite Ever? Frank and I are still counting the votes, but without a doubt Lake Raystown Resort is one to see. Come Paddle, Float, Cook and Camp with us as we show you part 2 of our adventures on the lake.
This week we continue with Part 2 of our Adventures at Lake Raystown Resort in Entriken, PA. Raystown Lake - a man made lake created by the Army Corps of Engineers - is the perfect Pennsylvania Getaway to enjoy a week on the water. In this video we’ll show you around the resort (and the several different ways to stay), paddleboard on the lake, and even find a message in a bottle!

Who us? Oh. Why thank you for asking - We’re Frank and Tori. We’re always looking for a new adventure or an excellent place to hang out with our two dogs. After purchasing our travel trailer 2 years ago, we have fallen head over heels with the RV Lifestyle. While not fulltimers, we do look for every opportunity we can to hit the road. I’ve live around the lake the majority of my life. This is a very good video. People don’t realize it would take over a month to actually explore all that Raystown has to offer.
It is an amazing make and glad we took the boat out to cover a lot of the lake. Thank you for the kind words and watching. I’m jealous you get to be so close to it. We are excited to go back.

awesome video and awesome place!! i discovered it by accident yesterday while working ( truck driver ). got lost while driving route 26 and took a little break at the lake. had no idea that place was there haha
Thank you Martin. It’s a great place to discover by accident haha. We still haven’t found a lake we like better. We for sure are going back. Hope you get a chance one day to stay there. Stay safe driving with all those crazy drivers out there. After pulling a trailer I have a lot more respect for truck drivers and what they deal with on the road. Have a great holiday weekend.

Do you remember what space you booked? The reviews on the resort’s website are all over the place, we booked a space on Poplar, near the tip, for next May, but am wondering if we made a mistake after reading more reviews.

I love tactical Mac and Dee
Tactical Mac and Dee love you. but Tactical Mac says, “Not as much as we love hot dogs on the grill.”
This was the only place that we have ever left early not even caring about the lost money. During the day, most campers left to go out on their boats and but left their dogs behind to bark ALL DAY. And, the bathrooms were dirty. Yuck! Don’t expect the wireless to work and we couldn’t get Verizon service. Even a site right on the water wouldn’t make up for all of the barking dogs and gross bathrooms.
I’m sorry you had a bad experience. We really enjoyed our time here. I’m curious which section of the resort you camped in so we can avoid in any future visits? Also, when did you go? We have a Verizon mifi and we had reception just not great speeds so I can see what you mean there. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and one of our favorite places we have camped.
