Decent review. Great price even so-so quality. One tip: Line the Tray with aluminum foil and it’s easy to remove and replace every couple months! 👌🏼
Watching because I am on the fence. I have looked at 15 different BBQs. Thank you for the great review. I am so glad you did the review. I helped.
That was a very thorough review, Michael. You do good work
Thank you, brother 🙏. You do as well 👍🏼. Giving this cooker to a Veteran about 10 minutes from me. I’m more excited about that than I am the video lol.
Thank you for your review. I just purchased one and i got more information about it from you than the manual. Keep up the good work. Great review!
Thank you very much, Angel! Cheers.
Thanks for the excellent review, Mike. I just assembled our recently purchased grill this afternoon. Assembly was fairly easy, though it usually takes me longer than the average person. Our last grill lasted for about ten years. I'm looking forward to seeing how this one compares.
Your camera presence is relaxed, credible, and friendly. Keep up the good work, man.
Thank you very much for the kind words!
Just purchased this grill today 29 June and this review really helped confirm my purchase choice. Great review, well done.
Thank you very much!
Thanks man, I just got my grill yesterday. My wife surprised me. I’m going to put it together tomorrow and enjoy! Thank you again for the review! ✌🏽
Thank you very much for watching!
I subscribed to your channel because I just bought one of these and watched your video. Your video is excellent...you deserve the follow and like. Thanks. Dave in NH
I bought mine yesterday. Set it up on my own with my morning coffee. Thank you Michael.
Excellent 👍🏼. Thank you very much for watching and supporting the channel 🙏
How's it holding up, pal? I'm thinking of buying one and I'd like to know if it's gonna last.
Great video! Im looking at getting my first grill and wanted a modestly priced one to begin with. I think you've convinced me to get this one. Thanks!
It’s really a great value for the price, features and relative quality. Thank you very much for watching 🙏
How's it holding up, pal? I'm thinking of buying one and I'd like to know if it's gonna last.
Fantastic review Michael! Seems like a lot of bang for the buck right there.
Thank you very much, brother! 🙏🍻
Nice review, will be buying this today. Thanks.
I think it’s a really good value. Thank you very much for watching 🙏
I enjoy your reviews and channel very much Mike. Youve got a great attitude and always just focus on the subject at hand. no fluff or hype. I do own the four burner version of this grill and after 3 years of pretty heavy use, its holding up fine. I keep it covered with a quality cover when not in use, and like you suggest, I keep it cleaned up every couple of cooks. That makes all the differance.
Awesome stuff, Colin! I sincerely appreciate your support and feedback 🙏
Curious to know how it's doing after 2 years. Are you happy with it?
I gave it away to a Veteran. He still uses it a lot and loves it.
Hey Mike nice review on the grill and for the price it's pretty damn good. Thanks for sharing you and the family stay safe and have a wonderful weekend.
Thank you for your friendship and support, Stephen! You guys stay safe too!
I purchased this grill this past Christmas for a killer deal. Under $200! It's awesome and it's really good quality. I've had really expensive grills and this one competes very well. Awesome review!
Thank you very much for your feedback 🙏. I agree, I found this to be a great value. I appreciate your support.
How's it holding up, pal? I'm thinking of buying one and I'd like to know if it's gonna last.
Just made a compulsive purchase today at Walmart when I saw this bbq, just moved into a new place and kept my eye out for used and new ones. Crazy how much they can be, but this was within my budget. It'll be my first time using a bbq on my own and I really can't wait to set it up to make some nice meals for my family and learn along the way. Already been doing my research on bbqs to make sure this lasts, before opening it up to assemble I had to watch some honest reviews on it and you sold me!
Enjoy it and spend lots of time with your family. That’s what it’s all about.
Thanks for posting your review brother. Damn those burgers looked delicious! Thanks to your review, I decided to pull the plug on buying it and just ran up to Walmart and got it on sale. Instruction manual looks pretty straightforward. I have a BBQ griddle I'm also going to be able to use with this grill. Can't wait.! Thanks again for posting.
Thank you too and enjoy!
Just bought one at wal-mart . March 2022 $320 tax included. Turned it one for less than 5 minutes and it hit 625deg . I took me by my self about 1-1/2 hr to put together.
Great feedback, Ritchie. Thank you.
Mike very good video very detailed and through. I like that clean out it has for the bottom very cool . Stay safe brother
Thank you very much and you too, John 🙏
New griller here. And I'm sold! Great video 👍🏾
Thank you very much for watching!
Nice review Mike. Im not in the market right now for a gas grill but I have seen this grill at Walmart and wondered about it. I like the review videos, keep them coming!
Definitely gonna be more! They’re all getting donated to veterans after the reviews too! Cheers 🍻
That's an awesome gesture Mike! Your a good man and your good deeds won't go unnoticed.
I do what I feel is right. This does. I already have a recipient for this one. Going to a retired Vietnam vet about 10 minutes from me. A man who’s always cared for his family but never does anything for himself. Loves to grill. Can’t wait for this to get to him.
Thanks for the review. I just bought this grill at my local Walmart a couple hours ago for $123.00.
Me too. Could not pass on the discounted price. Getting ready to assemble it.
Good review Mike! That price is ridiculously low for a gas grill, WOW!!
I know, right? It’s a really good value IMO. Built well too for the money. Thank you very much for your support, brother! Cheers 🍻
Nice review Mike. Hope you and your family are doing good.
Thank you, DD 🙏. Doing well. Hope the same to you and yours!
Awesome cooker and a great review Mike, :-)
Thank you very much, JayT!
Got this for $130 preassembled at Walmart this past weekend. Works great ! I wish it had more weight to it but for the price can’t beat it.
I prefer the lighter grill's, easier to move around. Was able to load pre assembled into my truck with no assistance.
I wanted this one because it was on display and looked nice.. turned out they were out of the 5 burner, but had the 6 burner without the side burner for $224!.. I got the dark red one and she's a beaut.
Completely agree about the grease and safety issues with most gas grills. They rarely do a good job making them easy to clean. Expert Grill is definitely a low-end brand, but this one seems really nice. The grease tray is great.
I was pretty happy to see that. That’s was what made me agree to it. I like the grill and the cleaning system. It’s well designed. Thank you very much for watching, Jason!
so i just saw this review and considering to purchase this grill. after a couple of months of use how are the flame covers working and does grease fall on the actual flame tubes. I worry that they will get clogged and are those easy to take off and clean as well?
thanks for the review
Cheers brother! Another great video!
Thank you very much, Jeffery! 🍻
Great review. Grease trap big plus. That's the reason I gave up on gas grill. Hard to clean without taking the thing apart😎👍
Exactly! I really liked their design here. It’s a great value IMO.
Loved the video!! Think it will definitely help tho in a more budget friendly grill market find cookers in the cheaper but still good quality range
Agreed. This one checks all the boxes. It’s really a great value. Thank you very much for your support, Michael!
Headed to buy this next week, thanks so much!
My pleasure. Thank you very much for watching and supporting the channel 🙏. Glad the review has been helpful for people.
How's it holding up, pal? I'm thinking of buying one and I'd like to know if it's gonna last.
The people I gave it to still have it and use it all the time. They love it.
Hey mike, nice review. I just bought a new weber s 435 i ran a natural gas line for it as well. Looking forward to new grill reviews.
Thank you very much, Dan! Congratulations on the new cooker!
good job Mike, like Greg said. Hey you want to get your hands on one of those mastercraft vertical charcoal grills for a test drive !
I wouldn’t mind trying one. Them seem like an interesting cooker!
Just bought this grill today. Can't wait to use it tomorrow!
Enjoy, Jesse!
How's it holding up, pal? I'm thinking of buying one and I'd like to know if it's gonna last.
@@andresrosalescastellanos4236 So far real good. It's true that sometimes it takes a few clicks to start some of the burners but it's no big deal. The same thing happens to not expensive grills. I really think this grill is a bargain at it's price. My family and I enjoy grilling on this grill. The only issue i had was that I wish they would have included better assembly instructions cause the ones you get with the grill is pictures showing you how to put it together. Assembly was not a big deal tho. To answer your question, yes I recommend this grill.
Just picked up the 6 Burner version for 75$ at Walmart. Actually got two and sold one for 150. So mine was free. Gonna put it together and cook some meals on it.
My gf just got me this bad boy for fathers day thanks for the review
Thank you very much for watching and supporting the channel 🙏
Short and Sweet. Right to the point, Good Job Mike. Currently Walmart has the 6 Burner selling for $348 CAD.
Thank you very much for watching!
Found one of these on the curb yesterday, gonna clean her up and see how she runs
Hey mike! How’s the family? Finally able to catch a vid during the day!😜
Lol doing well, Kev! Hope the same for you and yours! Cheers 🍻
I have the 4 burner model for 7 months now , no issues and am very impressed with the quality for the price
I was very impressed too. It’s really a good value product. Thank you very much for watching and for the feedback 🙏
How's it holding up, pal? I'm thinking of buying one and I'd like to know if it's gonna last.
great video mike great job
Thank you, Shawn 🙏. I like doing these.
Hi, thanks for your video and I am looking for some of your expertise to answer my following question: I know how to calculate BTU per square inch for the primary grilling area, but some of the most highly reputable and expensive grills like Weber have a low BTU per square inch like 70, where many experts say that the most efficient grill must have 80 to 100 BTU per square inch. So, what are the main factors to consider for buying a new grill? Thanks in Advance
Thank you for the review, I just bought one at Walmart for 228, my first grill
Thank you very much for watching!
@@EverydayBBQ Could you please also share some of your grilling tips (like cleaning) and recipes 😁
I have a ton of recipes on the channel. Just head to the main page.
How well is the grill holding up?
@@jimduffenais3996 it's holding up well, especially for the price, consumes gas at a bit higher rate but other than that is good
Mike, great review. Well made video with good points, no rambling, great camera work and audio. A pleasure to watch.
I just bought this grill last night and assembled it in @2hrs. I did the first fire-up today and got the grill up to 400 degrees. When I did, the corners of the of the lid handle were uncomfortably hot (not burn-you hot, but not something you'd want to hold onto for very long). But, that was minor compared to the control panel. THAT was VERY hot after just a few minutes at 400 degrees. I have never seen a burner control panel get hot like that. It was not hot enough to blister, but it would cause a mild burn if you kept your on it for any length of time. Does yours do the same?
BoHunter2010 mine did not do that. I would recommend replacing it.
Everyday BBQ & Cooking thanks. Take a peek and see if I’m doing anything wrong here.
czcams.com/video/qs9cH52VBkY/video.html
The heat is coming out of the gap between the lid and the control panel and making the handle and control panel hot. I checked for a flame out / burner situation at the knobs / gas tube and it was all good there.
hi mike, awesome review
Thank you very much, Ron!
That's a pretty cool pit brotha Mike...👍 Cheers🍺 and stay safe...
Thank you very much, Luis! It’s being donated to a veteran this weekend. I am stoked about that! Cheers brotha Luis!! 🍻👍🏼
Nice review...thanks!
One question...do you know who makes the grill, and are parts readily available?
I know you can get aftermarket burners that would probably work but it's nice to know if the company makes replacement parts.
Nexgrill I believe is the parent company.
I just put this grill together today. I let it run on high for 20 minutes not cooking. And noticed that even with the hood down the temp never went above 550°F witch is nice. The last grill I had got way too hot like 700°F. Easier to get a nice medium rare steak at a lower temperature.
You mentioned the rear of the grill was hotter than the front and that was typical with gas grill. Allow me to offer my experience, the orientation of the burners determines whether you can adjust the burners so to have same temperature throughout the entire cooking area. In most Weber gas grills the tube burners are arranged parallel to the grill when you are standing in front of the grill i.e., one tube burner very close to the front of the grill, one in the middle, and the third one near the rear of the grill in a 3-burner setup. Since each tube burner is individually adjustable you can turn down the rear burner a little so the entire cooking area is of the same temperature. Gas grills with tube burners arranged perpendicular to the grill you loss the option to equalize the front and back temperature for the entire cooking area. However, this 5-burner grill is very versatile it allows you to use just a small portion of the grill by only turning on the burners you need and that is great for cooking with a 10" or 12" skillet.
Thanks for watching and for the feedback, Alex!
Nice review 👍🏻
Thank you very much, Michael! I really enjoy these.
Michael fantastic review as always sent the link to my son if he likes it I'll be buying it as a house worming gift for his new house . joust one question what vents does it have on the back ? I didn't see the back on the video .
Thank you very much for watching, Joseph. The rear is basically open. Easy access to the clean out tray. It’s probably a little too open for my liking but not to a fault.
@@EverydayBBQ thanks for the reply got it yesterday for son's house warming gift he will be putting it together himself LOL
Nice review and cooker. How do you fit them all on Your porch😄
Been donating them to veterans lately. Gonna do that with all the extras this summer I think. Hope you’re well, Lasse.
Do you the natural gass conversion kit it requires?I purchased a kit on Amazon but the orifices size is different.
Hey mike, really like videos. Curious your opinion. Looking for new grill. Always had a Weber Q series so not a big chef here. However, really been intrigued with wood pellets (how I found you). Not concerned with cost above $1200 so was really looking at camp chef with sidekick. Just curious for someone who does a lot of burgers, chicken and dogs never smoked but would love to try. BBQ maybe once a week. What would you look at?
Definitely. I have that exact cooker and I love it. Once you have it you’ll use it all the time 👍🏼
Might want to look at Rec Tec. Best customer service in any business. No matter what brand you go with think of it as a wood fired stove that can get up to 600 degrees. No where near as fast heating up as a gas grill. For burgers and dogs I usually use the Weber gasser or the Blackstone flat top. If I have plenty of time to spare I’ll do dogs on the pellet grill. For chicken and pork I only use the pellet grill. Large cuts of beef always go on the pellet grill. Short story - If you want smoke flavor it takes more time. Is it worth it? Heck yeah.
Well you made me a believer just went and picked up a floor model at Wally world for $151
Congratulations and enjoy, Chris! Be sure to share your food with family and friends. That’s what it’s all about 👍🏼
Ever since my debacle with my Weber Kettle last year, I've been waiting to get a new one. And since you posted this review, I couldn't pass up on the price of the grill and bought one. It arrives this Wednesday. The only question I have about it would be 'How much of an gap is it in the back?' I am just wondering if I would need to rig something up to reduce heat loss. Thanks again Mike for another great video.
I think you’ll be fine but there are probably ways you could help it. I got it over 600 degrees in a hurry. Thank you very much for watching, William!
How's it holding up, pal? I'm thinking of buying one and I'd like to know if it's gonna last.
@@andresrosalescastellanos4236 the grill is going well. This summer I haven't grilled as much as I would like too.
When not in use I keep it covered. I do keep an eye on the grates. They will rust if not coated well between uses.
Hi amazing review. Could you please tell me about Weight, length, width and height, this is a grill?
I have a link in the description for the grills product page. That’s where you’ll find that information. Thanks for watching!
Just got this one. I have always had lava rocks at the bottom. Do you recommend putting a layer of them on that removable shelf?
I definitely don’t see the need for it. I donated this to a retired veteran and he’s had it for a year. I followed up with them last week to see how it was performing after a year because I have to review this years model now. They love it!
Great video! I was waiting to see how you thought it cooked. I have this one and it seems like mine is hotter in the front and cooler in the back. Reverse of what yours was. 😂
I definitely think it’s great for the money. Thank you very much for watching and supporting the channel 🙏
Good review. I purchased the grill, but both of the side panels have an issue with the screw at the back on both sides. Putting any item (plate/food tray etc) causes the side screw to completely come put and fall outwards. Happens on both sides. It is the screw at the back going to the main unit. Have you had the same problem when putting the grill together?
James, it’s been a while for me, but I do not recall any significant challenges when assembling.
@EverydayBBQ Thank you! I had the screws going from the outside panel into the main unit. That was my error when assembling it. The picture instructions were not the best...however after reviewing the instructions I noticed I needed the screws to be from inside the main unit out to the side panel. All fixed now. Very happy with the grill overall! Thanks, James
I just bought one last week and used it for the first time today and I'm barely getting any propane and I have a new propane tank
How about a video on assembling this grill?
I donated it to a Veteran and no longer have it.
A great review Michael. I am so glad that you chose to do a mid-range priced grill and mid-range quality grill. Most professional you tubers seem to always cook on high end expensive grills. Usually too high costing for the average family. And we don't need to be professional. While I would chose to go a bit more expensive and better quality, I did like your review of this grill and find that this is one I would consider if shopping price/quality.(I especially like the clean out option on this grill. My present grill does not offer a clean out so it doesn't get cleaned very often) LOL... Maybe someday you can review a smaller unit for us retired people who only cook for two for the most part. I would really be interested in that. Keep up the good work. Stay safe and healthy
Thank you very much for watching and supporting me, Bill! I will definitely keep the smaller grill review in mind. If a good opportunity comes up to review one that I feel comfortable with, I’ll take it.
I’m going to be donating most of these to Veterans once I am done with them. I’d like to find local vets that maybe otherwise might have a hard time affording a new cooker. If you think of any candidates, let me know. I think there will be 5-6 before the summer is over. I’ve already given this particular one away. It gets picked up tomorrow by a Veteran from Capron. A family man and someone who hasn’t had anything new because he sacrifices for family. I’m more excited about that than the review lol.
@@EverydayBBQ Very nice of you to donate to our veterans, I will keep my eyes and ears open.
Thank you very much 🙏
I just bought this one in my country's Walmart, could not avoid that price of $220.
Just bought this grill took me a hour to put it together
hows the grill mate?
Hey these are on sale now at my local Walmart for around $123. How is the grill holding up for you?
I gave it away and the new owner loves it.
Trying to see what cover I get for the grill. It’s not here yet so I can’t measure it but do you know a good one that would fit?
Sorry, Jonny. I do not. I’d recommend checking out the Walmart website to see if they show one in the accessories area of the product page for the grill.
Walmart has one same brand Expert Grill. 5-6 burner size should fit. Its $20
I just picked it up at my Walmart for $125
I just got this for $160!
Is it easy to buy parts for it if one of them breaks?
That’s a very hard question to answer especially these days with shortages everywhere. I would recommend contacting the manufacture if it’s a concern you have prior to purchasing.
I bought it today at Tractor Supply for $199!!!!!
Congratulations!
Hello! What's the warranty on it? I can't find information about it. But I noticed that Nexgrill replies to this grill reviews online.
Here's what I found in the manual...
TUBE BURNERS: 5 year LIMITED warranty against perforation.
• COOKING GRIDS and FLAME TAMERS: 2 year LIMITED warranty; does not cover dropping, chipping, scratching, or surface damage.
• STAINLESS STEEL PARTS: 2 year LIMITED warranty against perforation; does not cover cosmetic issues like surface corrosion,
scratches and rust.
• ALL OTHER PARTS: 2 year LIMITED warranty (Includes, but not limited to, valves, frame, housing, cart, control panel, igniter, regulator,
hoses) *Does not cover chipping, scratching, cracking surface corrosion, scratches or rust.
Also, as far as I know, Nexgrill and Expert are part of the same company.
@@EverydayBBQ THANK YOU SO MUCH for takig the time to reply. You sold me, I got the 6 burner for 197.00! After watching your video and that price cant say no to that.
Always my pleasure 🙏. I truly appreciate your support.
How much propane do you use regularly
I’ve got a few grills/griddles that use it so I go through a fair amount lol.
Is it a dual fuel grill?
No
Mine didn’t come with the Cast Iron Cooking Grates does anyone know where I can buy some
I suggest contacting the manufacturer
Is it flimsy it sounds like it
It’s built out of better materials than I would expect for the price. If it was junk you wouldn’t see it on my channel.
Does this grill also use coal?
No
How long has this grill lasted ?
I gave it away to a veteran last year and his family loves it they wrote me a note to tell me that they use it all the time so my guess is it’s gonna last quite a while.
@@EverydayBBQ ty....i see a lot of reviews stating they prematurely rust out. I was worried about that.
My pilot light doesn't work and the knobs are cheap and falls off very easily
