Because I have suffered with overthinking and ocd due to journalising, I don't think anyone should ever make it a daily habit because then it becomes addiction like it happened to me, u would not be able to resist not writing bad and good experiences of your daily life..
Hi di, I don't want to make this toxic, but journalising didn't worked for me instead it worsened my overthinking, I used to write down everything that what happened with me for atleast2hrs per day and it came to a point if i didn't wrote something good which happened with me i couldn't resist...for example my teachers would appreciate me and i would write it down so that i wouldn't forget this moment..what i chatted with my frnds today in insta, i used to write that too and it still happens, so my 2022 brought a lot of toxicity too, my 2021 younger self wouldn't have ever thought that I would get ocd, converted from a whole social extrovert to a depressed introvert due to journalising, overthinking,care so much what people would think of me, then cry alone in my room for hrs..( I already had a little ocd triggered due to my 12th board exams and sudden change in lifestyle having a lot of toxic and negative emotions about if I will succeed,etc. that everyone has had such a great percentage in their boards in 10th and tab bhi I didn't scored much so I have to do this..I used to pressurise myself a lot...I wish that I had the potential to think positive and work hard rather than pressuring myself and having to do it forcefully..)..P.S. I don't know if you will read this Kritika di but I relate so much with everything you say about being an introvert, i feel all those things, I would really like to meet you too one day, I relate with you so much that it feels like I already know you and if I met you, we will be chatting for hrs and hrs..manifesting that you will read this and maybe we will meet sometime soon🥰
