    OMAD diet really worked for me. It is also a kind of IF but more stricter. I followed the 23:1 pattern but you can go and choose whatever hour pattern that suits your schedule.I lost 20 KG in about 3.5 months with this. Let me tell you the tips that I followed - I started that during 2020 lockdown phase and my primary goal was to just be healthier so that helped as I did not pressurized my mind with obsessive weight loss goals. I just walked for about 45 mins with my mom or dad so that was both a quality time as well as a form of exercise. I sometimes cycled for 20 minutes in my campus because I enjoyed that so basically the conclusion is opt for a physical activity that you enjoy. It can be anything. Third I ate healthy food and by that I mean I did not consume sugar for that period and also nothing processed. Further that one meal of my day was something I totally loved as it was well balanced like being a vegetarian i had a bowl of salad,a bowl of curd chapati any seasonal vegetable and anything extra if that was there so the conclusion here is have a well balanced meal and enjoy every bite of that sumptous meal that you have. I always broke my fast with soaked nuts as not with heavy meals. I drank around 3-4 litres of water which I even usually followed before this journey. My final tip enjoy the journey else it will be a seemingly humoungous task and know over exert your boundaries because every lifestyle choice might not be best suited for you. They all say it correct that its not a diet but a lifestyle change and believe me once you resort to healthy living thereis no going back to lethargy and thankfully I have been able to sustain intermittent fasting for 2 years now. I resonate with all the tips and tricks given my deeksha and kritika. Thanks khurana sisters for bringing these topics to forefront and giving realistic goals and delivering the messages in the most lucid manner as per me.

    Best eating window is during day time(between sunrise and sunset) because our digestive power is extremely high during the day, eating post sunset should be avoided, if you’re doing this much for yourself, you can try to follow this eating window. It will change your life. Secondly, there shouldn’t be any consumption of caloric foods even if it’s a splash of milk in your coffee or tea, because the main agenda of intermittent fasting is reducing insulin and increasing growth hormone, whenever we consume any food or calories insulin levels increase, have black or green tea and coffee. Not a nutritionist or anything, just started during lockdown like you guys. Did a lot of research, doing OMAD rn eating hour is around 12. And started working out too lately. Don’t push yourself Bt try to go a level up after a while.

    i feel after fasting for 12 hours or 16 hours you tend to eat an apple pie rather than an apple, so its better to take small meals throughout the day like have 6small meals than 3 large ones

    Intermittent fasting can cause hair fall issues because body focuses all food and nutrition towards survival and to support body functions, and it doesn’t have surplus left to support hair growth. I’m saying that because i used to do it and i was experiencing a lot of hairfall, and my dietitian actually advised me against it and emphasised the importance of having a hearty breakfast!

    bascially sb loose krn k liy workout diet follow krte h but me i did workout nd follow diet for gaining nd litreally after 2months i gain almost 4 to 5 kg wt i do is ki protein vli chize intake krna 5 to6meals follow krn .i am the one who din m 2 bri khna khnan nd pait bhrgya but when i strt workout automtclly bhuk lgn lgi hr 2hour m ..nd workout vdo mne utube vdos dkhi thn fllwup ki..initially it was diffcult but aftr 2weeeks sb routine m agya .kritika di u inspired me to do this ..thnk u so much nd also so much luv for deeksha di....

    Hey , Intermittent fasting is good. But anyways what matters is sustainability. If you feel you can manage your whole life doing intermittent fasting then good.
    To lose weight, follow a calorie deficit diet with resistance training.
    Keep your protein 1.6-1.8g/kg and Fat at least 0.6g/kg and rest carbs.
    Try maintaining water intake to atleast 4-5 litres per day.
    Sleep atleast 7-8 hrs per day.
    Keep yourself active throughout the day.
