the fuel economy figures of the Corrolla Cross Hybrid is amazing!
They are mostly with long long waiting times though. Priority is in-house financing, greedy dealers
not gonna lie, I'm not really used to the non-hyped, non-ultrasonic Caco in this video. did anyone spike his drink with downers or something? 😂 he's surprisingly calm!
Yeah, I notice it too, Maybe he's still have a hangover from new year eve when they film this. 😂
@@yorimzc 😂😂😂
the prices for replacing those lithium batteries *are* sobering
Caco before coffee
Azkarra Luxury...the best compact SUV so far
If Toyota would bring the Vios hybrid in PH, it would probably do better than Altis's 30kmpl
I was waiting for this episode
We need an updated list 😊
This article didn't include the by indent order hybrid vehicles from Mazda and Toyota.
It is nice to see that Hybrid vehicles getting traction here in The PH
220k+ since their respective launches.
@@charlesa1234 import prices increased causing them to go up a tax bracket in the TRAIN law, causing geely to hike up
@@brioblancaflor3662 that's just an excuse..Sojitz and the dealers want to earn more money in selling Geely vehicles at jacked up prices.

Any reviews about GMW Haval hev?
i need some advice, we are plannin gto get a hybrid for manila so we can avoid coding days, and so that we can upgrade to a bigger car. the jimny is nice for me but fam needs an all rounder. we have a cx5 but the hybrid would be a good alternative too
Nissan Kick's hybrid technology is inferior to Toyota's, but it makes a perfect sense given the real conditions sa mga kalsada natin dito sa Pinas. Even sa highway, I hardly go beyond 60.
What is the difference of hybrid and e power
Why does the Philippine version Prius only have half the power of the one we have here in the states?
Do you have content for hybrid cars with sunroof?
please review the mitsubishi airtrek ev thanks
Like the kicks
Ill go for nissan kicks👍
I have kicks, in terms of fuel economy, it's better than Toyota
Caco's serious mode
How about the rav4, i want nissan e-power on a terra 😅🙏🏻
nice
Any Kicks owner here? How was it so far?
Mr. Caco, I hope you will soon cover the Hyundai Ioniq 5! 😄
That's an EV
why does the highlander have a 2.4 but produces so little power?
No more Toyota Camry Hybrid…?
There is no available cross hybrid since last year
Business as Usual for these hybrid, as for the CVT's, well good luck beyond warranty period. (no backyard repair shop yet for cvt's "250k++ worth of transmission replacement") if you think of keeping it beyond 5 to 10 years.
I also don't like CVT's though I haven't drove one, but from reviews in the US and UK, it's really not as responsive and quite slow. However, if you properly maintain a CVT with regular change fluids, (every 40-50k I think depends on the models) it will last long also. Though you really have to change fluids regularly and more often than regular AT.
Subaru forester perhaps?
1.7M for toyota corolla cross??? maybe for GR sport variant .....
Altis...if price is 300k more then regular altis, with present average fuel price is 60 per liter...that is 5000 liters of fuel...if regular altis consumption is lets say 10km/l which computes to 50k km...average person drives approx 10k km a year...you start to save money after 5 years...if you are planing to keep the car for the rest of your life, then it is okay...otherwise i am not sure if it is worth it
Unless you are All-In for a more greener environment 👍
Okavango
Toyota raize EV please 🙏
Any recommendation for a family car that is hybrid? (Cargo space and comfortable seating for 5pax)
Wait for Nissan X trail, I. Am Happy with my kicks though
Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid GLX
How about the Toyota Innova Hybrid. Is it not coming out this year '2023 ?
2nd quarter of 2023
Is the Tiggo 8 pro really frugal on gas? I've watched videos locally saying they got 9 to 10km/L during their test.
If you are gonna do a long drive, it is best to have 100% charged battery and go on hybrid mode.
Use the EV mode only in city or short trips.
30km/L is easy.
How about the RAV-4 Hybrid? why is it not included?
Available by indent order only
You did not add the 2023 Suzuki Ertiga hybrid. Great content
Para do ka umasa sa wala, it will be Suzuki alto hybrid 😁😁
ever heard of the word AVAILABLE?
Cant wait for the ertiga Hybrid a cheaper option hope its less than 1m
964k Pesos for the GA Hybrid variant of Ertiga
@@KuchingKingVideoGamer woow thanks not bad
Sir it feels weird to watch you without glasses.. or is it just me? handsome nonetheless :)
Im sad, while I saw the mild hybrids Azkarra and Okavango, you forgot the Mazda 3 and CX-30.
True, I’ve been planning to take a look at the mazda 3 hybrid but content for it is lacking so much
Mazda Philippines isn't really pushing for it as the mild hybrid technology wasn't that great on those vehicles.
I agree they are not yet pushing for that though the list still merits these 2 mild hybrids from mazda coz they are still somehow hybrids.
They've even put the Azkarra in the list which is a mild hybrid as well but has a FC of 6km/L that is way lower than the 2 mazdas. I got this figure from Gretchen Ho as she vlogged her usage of her own azkarra.
@@alanmorano4755 I think it is because it is hard to get a test drive of those units from Mazda. I was dying to actually test drive any of them but 3 mazda dealers i asked said they can just give me a test drive for the non hybrids as they dont have demo units of mhybrids.
Lexus RX450h or even the new RX350h didn't make the list ://
Waiting for you guys to review a Tesla.
Tesla isn't even available legally in the Philippine market
when u say Hybrid, what does it mean? . im a newbie in terms of these.
Still primarily driven by internal combustion engine and either assisted or is secondarily driven by an electric motor.
Just curious, for how long does the battery life is for hybrids and how much for a replacement?
8 to 10 years
@@KuchingKingVideoGamer battery life how about the warranty is it the same?
Battery replacement is about 3000 usd in toyota
Instead of going electric, i would prefer hybrids
Is the 29 km/L advertised by Honda's HR-v S true/accurate? If so, it beats many of the hybrid cars shown here in this video.
They have a video comparo between the hrv, kicks and Corolla cross. The result was 12km/L for the hrv if my memory serves me right. So way off from advertised. The kicks and cross did 20+km/L in the comparo
@@mecsmd base model are 29km per liter.
In the compare HRV V. Turbo not NA S
What about Mazda?
ung mild hybrid ng 3 no?
Wala pala syang salamin 😅
Didn’t the mazda 3 come in a hybrid, it’s even on the autodeal website
Mild hybrid technology only
where is toyota camry?
the cost of replacing the battery is SO EXPENSIVE...
Camry and Rav4 are missing.
Expensive and available by indent orders only
@@KuchingKingVideoGamer So it means it's still available in the Philippines market because you can still get it from the local dealers and should be in the lists too. I see them on the roads as well, not much of the Rav4, but a handful of Camrys.
That's all folk! There is nothing new here . I already bought the kicks!
Toyota Corolla "hybrid" 1.8 has 120hp and 142nm of torque, delivering 16 km/l on city and 23.5 km/l hiway costing P1.7m while Honda BRV 2023 1.5 has 121hp and 145nm of torque for a 24.71 km/l costing P1.4m. The BRV with its smaller displacement engine delivers better engine power and fuel economy than Toyota's "hybrid" and costs 21% lower. Now how can that be, Sir Caco?
Honda also advertised 29km\l for the HRV. Real life only does 12km/l. Probably its achievable but under special conditions
@@wetsocksrichdad1928 it is Highway test
@tina moran You should watch Top Gear Philippine's comparo between Corolla cross, nissan kicks and brv.
@@kimmallari2658 can't find it...or maybe you mean hrv?
@@tinamoran8270 yeah.my bad.😅🤣
MAZDA?
Available by indent order and mild hybrid only
Sad to say Toyota has no power and torque compared to chinese car and it's more expensive.
Abno
COMING: The 2023 INNOVA ZENIX HYBRID gets 21.1 Km/L. It has 6 seats. The second row has Ottoman type captain's chairs with TV monitors.
It's 7 seats if you include Ottoman seat, 8 seats if you pick second row bench seat
I do not understand why Philippines is still behind on this. I have driven the Toyota Urban Cruiser abroad, super fuel economic, very spacious and inexpensive. This place is a black hole of logic.
Subaru forester perhaps?
There's no e-Boxer varant of the Subaru Forester in the local market due to pricing issues.
@@KuchingKingVideoGamer Hoy. Diba sabi ko patuli ka muna?
