I have friends from North Yorkshire in England who have climbed Mount Elbrus but they are experienced trekkers & climbers who have climbed in the Himalayas, the Alps and the Andes. I don't know whether they went up the North or the South routes so I will ask them when I next see them (we often going camping together).
I know that she sometimes suffers altitude sickness but sometimes she does not (it seems very random) but her husband mostly feels OK.

I remember all the pre-departure get togethers at my place where all the tourers would come and weigh their packs on my beam scale. If your bag weighed too much he'd make you pare it down. Yes, he'd enjoy this video had he not passed away a while back over in San Torrini after a lifetime of expeditions. To see Eli, with no experience in climbing toting 75 pounds up Elbrus speaks to the grit of her spirit. You be safe over there and get back to 'home base' intact charged up for the next trek.

Congratulations Eli on making it to the top🏆 . Russia has beautiful scenery. I used to hate going on school camping trips. Camping in Australia is very different from Russia. You'll miss the simple luxuries. Be sure to watch out for deadly bushfires, mosquitos, leeches, wasps, vicious bull ants, deadly snakes and spiders. Eli, do you think you can endure the Outback? I DARE you!..🕷. The temperature gets so hot you could literally cook an egg on a rock! 🍳

I don't think I could. You have the experience to deal with it. I'd probably die of thirst. An additional impressive video from Eli. making videos has come so naturally to her. She has actually received success extremely quickly, I can not be a tiny bit envious of her, though the top quality of her videos are much above mine and better than many youtuber's. I have been blogging concerning Russia for over 4 years but the youtube algorithm has actually not been as kind to me as it has been to her. I can see that you like to learn about Russia. May I ask of you, to critique my channel and explain to me what is not good enough and how I can get better?

@@SamsRussianAdventures Unfortunately, stereotypes about Russia exist. Use that stereotype to your advantage. Eli knows that 95% of her target demographic audience are male aged 18+ and single. Most of them have an unhealthy fetish and objectify Russian women. But all Eli see's in those individuals is an algorithm which translates to revenue. I read the comments and 85% of the time its awkward lonely men with a harmless crush. But to be honest, I think of Eli as having transformed herself as more of an Investigative Journalist rather than CZcamsr.

@@diabolicaldebbie I really appreciate your honesty. I think that you are right. I often make videos with girls just because I know that the male western audience wants to see this. The other option is to make videos stereotyping the typical run down Russia that people expect to see and one blogger in particular has gained huge success with this.

@@SamsRussianAdventures I've seen your work, and I don't mean to sound harsh, but you need to work on your camera and editing skills. You need to do more research if you want to be taken seriously as a professional CZcamsr.

@@diabolicaldebbie thanks for your feedback. Do you mean that I should add music and effects? The only thing that really annoys me is my sound quality when standing behind the camera. I really like the filming style of Bald and Bankrupt. I don’t like his content but my filming style is similar to his his.

😳 Brave lady!!! Congratulations to you and all your climbing team 🍻

Impressive effort, Eli. An average CZcamsr wouldn't endure altitude sickness or navigate through crevasses to create content. I truly enjoyed the video, and loved the scenery. Looking forward to seeing your next adventure.

I really enjoyed this video as a trip up a mountain, but also as a view into Russian life. Your English was fine even when you were under the stress of climbing.(I was a climber also and our guide would say "Stop talking and just concentrate on putting one foot in front of the other, and breathing in rhythm with your steps!" He didn't have to tell us twice.) Thanks for this !

The type of "light" these people show amongst themselves. And have on their faces with you there... Just so adorable and happy.

Thank you for the vicarious experience of this climb. You endure the cold rain & wind; while I sit back with me feet up drinking a hot cup of coffee. But the call of the wild is enticing. I envy your experience!

I love going to mountains and this path seems like a dream hike. Also, quite nice group of hikers, they got those alpine rocks in them souls.
