From the visuals, music, drone footage, fishing, climbing and tranquillity they are just awesome. By far, the best fishing content on CZcams! I thought the areas I fish in and around the south coast of england were interesting, not a patch on the locations you fish. So jealous. Thanks for sharing.

So good. For years now, this low key unassuming friendly neighborhood guy has been consistently busting out hard core, epic adventures. Before I watched this channel I would have said fishing those cliffs was impossible. Climbing, fishing, cooking, videography (the underwater footage was next level), what an impressive skill set. Agree with others, best fishing content on CZcams hands down.

That was so awesome, I like those great ideas like zip-lining a herring, the underwater footage and hanging a hammock on a cliff side. plenty good fish and beautiful scenery from the drone. such an entertaining episode.
The drone footage showed how you were actually sitting right next to a giant wedged fracture in the wall of the cliff. It's crazy to think that if there ever is movement in the plate there, of just how large some of the peices that will slide away from the wall. As always thanks so much for taking us along for adventure that we may never be able to do ourselves! And in my case I'll never be able to climb again! From one fishing fanatic to another thank you!!!

Sleeping in a hammock hanging off a cliff face is fekn' crazy stuff man. Good fishing too, some nice tasty fish there and the snap was a real bonus. Your fry up's never fail to get me drooling. I slipped the camper on the ute and went down our south coast fishing with the missus and was blown away by millions of carp from 1 inch to a couple of feet long all along the beaches near the Murray Mouth. The Murray flooded and pushed literally millions of carp out of the system into the ocean. It was an amazing sight, in 60 years I've never seen anything like it and the smell was full on.They were bulldozing them in places a local told me but the next tide just brought more. Fishing was crap because everything down there has been eating these fish. I only saw one native fish among the 1000's I saw, a Callop. Don't know if that is a good or bad sign, either the native fish can deal with the flow or there isn't many left in the system, I'm hoping they deal with the extra flow

i work graveshifts and i love watching your vids in between my work; it reminds me of where i grew up and i used to fish with my family. Sadly those times are no more. Awesome work! I always wanted to see what was at the bottom of cliffs underwater! I was just thinkinkg about it , then you chucked the cam on. Nothing more satisfying than seeing you cook up your catch. Love it!

@gidosfishingadventures You really need to find one of the old style nylon cutting boards to take with you on these trips. They used to make one ~150x200x5mm and they are invaluable for cutting bait or skinning when you have nothing flatter and they don't ruin your blade. Maybe knock up some thin ply board and put a hole in it for a carabiner. Worst case you use it for firewood. :)

Hey Gido. Awesome job on the go pro. May I make a couple of suggestions from my own experiences. Put a cable tie around the GoPro housing - hitting the water sometimes smacks them open. Also, put a wire trace on the go pro - sometimes sharks take the go pro (true !) as they are attracted to the weak magnetic currents. Also, put the go pro on the end of the line with the bait between it and you, on a short trace. That way keeping the line taut puts the bait between the camera and you each time so you see all the action. Also use clones ($50 fromKogan) it’s cheaper when you loose them. Love your work. Jealous.

I know I’ve told you, I’m from Texas. Well a couple of years ago I became very good friends with a woman, fellow artist, out in Oregon. We got to talking one day and I was telling her about my younger days as an avid fisherman and how with my health as it is, fishing videos are as close as I can come now. She said she watches fishing videos too. I asked her who her favorite was, and she said, Gido, from Australia. I said No way! He’s my favorite, too! So, now you know! Two old ladies from the States are you biggest fans!
