ian bledsoe as much as I love this song it almost sounds messy to me in the verses. but it might just be the drums being that fast.
I don't really think it's that great - the cymbals are a bit too bright and too loud, and they take up a lot of the sonic space in the side mix and don't let the top end clarity of the guitars come through enough, thus making the mix feel really narrow. I also think that the drums in the center could stand to come down a bit as well to let the vocals take prevalence, and that's coming from a drummer...
But hey, Seth Henderson gets paid the big bucks and I don't, right? What could I know? :P

Let me tell you guys something. This song speaks to me more than any song I've ever heard. I think of the relationship I have with my own father and how I really changed because we just can't get along. He put me through so much that I can't even talk him anymore. My anxiety and depression lives on but I'm getting better. This song gives me bitter chills everytime I hear it, and I feel like these lyrics shine through me as I would speak them to my father. This is my favorite song of all time and I need it. Thank you knuckle puck.

Although I can’t totally relate in a super specific way but have certainly had a checkered relationship with my father. Luckily we are mending those wounds but some of it I can never let go. This is def a super good song!

I'm not usually quick to throw around hyperboles, but this is potentially my favorite pop punk song of this decade so far, and that's saying a lot.
We are in a prim high in pop punk, with knuckle puck, and seaway eclipsing the top while man overboard and the story so far ride off into the sunset. Bask in these years now! It's a unique and once in a lifetime moment.
Knuckle puck is making me remember the early 2000's when pop punk was the big thing... and honestly i forget how much pop punk has done for me. it got me through elementary all the way through high school. i got into drugs but I got clean because i can't afford to lose all the bands that caused such a big impact. I consider these guys in the same realm as Simple Plan. Knuckle Puck isn't my childhood but definitely hit me with some nostalgia.
I too have had a struggling relationship with my father since day 1. He worked hard to give my family a better life but him and I don’t get along well. He always belittled me and never believed in me and my passions so I totally understand. Especially as a musician (bassist / guitarist). Always made fun of me for it. I realized you can’t let that stop you from pursuing your dreams. I love this song, always will!

Okay confession time, this one time I was working (I work at a panera bread if anybody ends up wondering) and I took this guys order and I swear to fucking god he looked exactly like Joe and his legit name was joe too and I like studdered and almost shit myself. He was really nice and when I was done I went to the back and looked at a picture of Joe and I said fuck it and walked out and asked if he was familiar with the band knuckle puck and he said he was and I was about to die right there and then he said he wasn't who I thought though and it was the most disappointing moment of my life. He said he played guitar but that he wasn't any good at singing and we had a little conversation. It was a funny moment indeed
This album kept me going in 2018 when I was depressed, glad I'm reconnecting and remembering how much this album helped me now that I'm not feeling great lately.

This song is my past relationship in a bit she’ll. We were both alcoholics and when I finally got my shot together she wouldn’t. I stayed for 9 years with someone who would constantly be fucked up, unfaithful, and never be there for me and our daughter. I was crushed so many times. I was of course always willing to take her back. Plagued by the thought of my daughter constantly being exposed to her. When I left she took my daughter and now I’m fighting for her custody. So now she’s making me the bad guy. This song reminds me of how liberated I was when I finally left. It kept my chin up on days when I wanted to go back.

Pretense, In Bloom (by Neck Deep), Anthem Part Two (by blink-182), Connect the Dots (by New Found Glory), Overstepping (by Belmont), Nerve (by The Story So Far) are the best pop punk songs so far in my opinion
that's literally the greatest list of all time, those are all great. If you haven't already, I suggest you check out wedding singer by modern baseball, and funny you should ask by the front bottoms. Caution by tiny moving parts is also fantastic.

When every band member practices individually, it's not working. We see Joe walking to meet is bandmates and I guess everything takes time, but in the end, if it's right then it'll be satisfactory.
