Mel, I honestly don't know how you manage to bring us so many delicious looking recipes every week but I'm thankful for you. I bought some “grill mats” on Amazon instead of the silicone mats. You can cut them up whatever size you want. They’re reusable and you can wash them in the dishwasher. I do all the time. They won’t let food fall through and they’re non-stick. Just thought I’d toss that idea your way. Great video. Thank you. I watch you all the time !

I love a grilled cheese and tomato soup, the only soup I really like is the Progresso creamy tomato basil, I don't like any of the other Progresso soups, just the creamy tomato basil, I add a little butter and a cap or so of lemon juice, makes it so yum!
I use 3 different cheeses and an artisan sunflower seed bread goes perfectly together. Rustic goodness!
Now that sounds like something my daughter would love for me to make her!

Everything looks so good Mel. My concern is that everything you read about pesticides. If you don’t get organic I feel like we’re feeding our families poison. So I try to buy organic even tho it costs more.
Just FYI. Organic doesn't necessarily mean pesticide free. Organic produce are sprayed with "soft chemicals " such as soap and are sprayed more often because they spoil faster. Also, conventional pesticides leech into our water sources and are spread by wind to other locations. Unfortunately, those pesticides are everywhere.
And just FYI, almost everything you buy in the store is poisonous. The government is poisoning us. Whether you believe it or not
Love how Patrick said “no” before you could even get the word broccoli out. 😂😂😂 we tried the gardening venture last year and this year …. Most expensive 12 zucchini ever! 😂😂 thanks for the fresh ideas!
A pack of seeds is all it costs me, but that’s because I have my own water well. I do everything the old-fashioned way. Trust me, the vegetables taste just the same when you get to picking time. 😂

Oh I so love tomatoes. My Mom worked in the schools for years and one of the teachers always had mayo, tomato and potato chip sandwiches. They are so simple and delicious. Unfortunately as much as I love tomatoes I can no longer eat them. They tear me up.

I do watch Mandy, love her channel, I don't get to watch as often as I used to and I've not seen that video but I have made many sandwiches and tortilla wraps with the Jammin Jams and they are SO good! I did a grilled cheese with left over BBQ and jam one time and Patrick still talks about that LOL

I wish I liked salmon. I love salmon cakes, just not grilled or fried salmon. The chicken mac and cheese is a must try. I think broccoli would be a good addition. More bacon is always good! Here’s a thank you recipe for all the work you do. Tomatoes soup… with a twist.
1 can Campbells tomato soup
1 - 1 1/2 cups whole milk
1 big dash Tabasco sauce
A dash of lemon juice
Salt/pepper to taste
Optional saltine crackers
Get your whisk to work on that soup & milk over a medium heat. It should be very liquid like a broth. Add milk until it’s dark pink not red. Then splash a big dash of Tobasco & let it boil. Add your other items to taste after taking off the heat. Try floating a cracker then take your spoon and push it to the bottom till it’s broken up & eat the crunchy pieces fast!
Hope this one changes your mind on tomato soup. I sometimes put a touch of garlic powder too. I’ve tried it with no success with other brands… But… a can of Hunt’s tomato paste will also make a larger portion of this soup if you vary your other ingredients accordingly. Mama made it with Hunt’s but Dad made it with Campbells. Thanks for that Barilla pesto tip. I love Barilla products so I will try it. Ciao!

We all differ. In my family for generations there is nothing like a slice of a homegrown tomato with salt and pepper. To us it is God's food, NOTHING better.
I then had a daughter who did not like tomatoes. Not allowed.
So she was disowned... JK but seriously, best thing in the world that ever was.
She is in her 30s now and I will get her there eventually... She now does eat cherries in some things and diced tomatoes in things... So we have gained ground...:D :D
On the flip side, I don't do salmon, so like I said we all differ.
Fish is supposed to be white, not pink. Lol.
