It's my second favorite next to Unleashed, such an Underrated game.

May I say you are a true hero for doing this? The number of CZcams players I've seen doing a playthrough of this game on an original Xbox is exceedingly rare. I feel like Xbox is the underdog of the three 6th gen consoles in terms of not just Sonic games but Sega games in general. Whenever I see a playthrough of this game, it's almost always on the GameCube. Now I finally get to witness my favorite 3D Sonic game of all time on Microsoft's first ever video game console. Again, you, sir, are a true hero!
The Xbox is the most underrated console brand period. Even way back when this game was new, it was always the best. I have nothing against Playstation or Nintendo, but of the 3, Xbox to me is the best. Sonic Heroes to me looks and runs amazing on Xbox

Ever notice how every video you see of Sonic Heroes, unless you specify "Xbox" in your search, it's usually GameCube gameplays that you see? Like you said, Xbox was definitely the underdog with this game, despite it being the best one

This game is highly Underrated and is one of the best 3D Sonic games I've played.
It’s not underrated. Sonic Heroes was a major commercial success back then. It had greatest hits on all platforms (PS2, GameCube, and OG XBOX).
This was one of the only sonic games where tails sounded like an actual kid

Why the hell do people hate this game so much? It's a masterpiece of a Sonic game. I really wish it would be remastered for xbox one. And what, the levels were a little lengthy? Good! That's a true test of speed!

Because PS2 port ruined it, and people have bad memories due to how bad PS2 version was. I am not joking, i think its proof that people can have nostalgia for bad games but its really BAD ports some have nostalgia for. If Sonic Heroes was only a GameCube and Xbox port then it would be a classic, maybe not perfect but still a classic!

I still remember my uncle popping the Sonic Heroes disc into the Wii. I played for hours on end, I even beat Neo Metal Sonic. I had that song on repeat in my head for weeks.

Yup, this is a good port. Although it has some of the PS2's downgraded effects and some pretty bad graphic glitches in some places, a worth playing version of the game.

one of the very first video games i picked up when i was around 8 years old. took me forever to beat it until i did, then proceeded to do it over 20-30+ times. i recently revived my gamecube again and still have to disk and can’t wait to play it again 🥲
You wanna know what I hate? I hate it when CZcamsrs stretch the footage into 16:9 when it's not supposed to be that way. It's my biggest pet peeve with people like @ProsafiaGaming.
The Xbox natively supported 16:9 on a system-wide level.
Xbox does indeed support 16:9 but heroes does not, so only the intro looks right here.

@@SantiagoMonroy5 The 360 runs most Xbox games in 4:3, even if they're 16:9 compatible & Sonic Riders is one of those. But Sonic Riders does run in 16:9 (with slight underscanning) & I can confirm as I've played through the whole game on authentic hardware.

The xbox version has some ps2 effects and some effects from gamecube to maintain the 60fps in the xbox version while the gamecube is superior in effects and maintain an solid 60fps without some drops in certain parts that's the xbox version has, if the xbox version was more optimized, it will have all of the gamecube effects in higher quality and some exclusive effects

@@HDPLAYGROUND1911 What! I 100% it on 360 it plays better as in dishing out those frame drops and has the fastest load after me comparing it to GameCube version used on Wii. The only bad thing is that CGI runs at 15 FPS but it’s still Synced anyway

You already know why, because the first Xbox, as cool as it was, did not succes as much as they wanted, remember the PS2 ? How much it was buyed ? That why ( and don't get it wrong, i do have players on the two of them, but it is still how it appened)

No. I also don't think it was ever available digitally to begin with on the 360. The only way to play it is to have a disc and an Original Xbox Console or Xbox 360.

The voices in this game are so irritating I went into my XBOX settings and changed everything to Japanese, it switches all the character voices to the Japanese cast. Omega actually sounds really intimidating
There not iritating, there not your taste, that diferent, i canot appreciat thé voice they have in the last Sonic, because they have not the same voice actor and it is not in the same language, when i was a kid playing Sonic game 20 years ago, every voice was in english, but now they are traduction, it is cool but i liked more the past one. All of that to Say, personal taste, not a fact. Good for you if you have switched for japanes
