      @@mykeehed5096 sure, The screws for the 2.5 sdd are in fact smaller. I live in Mexico City and in my local pc market I could find the correct screws for the 3.5 hdd, however I didn't find the ones for the 2.5 drive. I ended cutting a piece of cardboard and glueing it to the case so it held the 2.5 drive. That wasn't clean but the option was to order the correct screws at something like 30 usd from Spain or something. You can find the part number and the eBay listing of you search for them

      Julian, no, it wouldn't fit. The PSU in the 600 SFF is a proprietary PSU. A standard SFX PSU is too wide and you would need to cut the top panel of the case. Besides, the power connections on the motherboard are also not standard.

    If I just ordered the 600 G2 refurbished (by a verified refurber), should I power up and do the windows start up, etc., Before adding my new drives and upgrades? Or should I just open it up right away, put in the ram, SSD, HDD, graphics card, wifi, and then start up? I'm a newbie... Well let's say advanced newbie, lol. Just wanting to save time if I can.

    • @TerraRiley
      @TerraRiley Před 4 lety

      @UCK6azUTv-FhcuoSZhEPX7_Q hey! Appreciate the reply!
      I got a sweet deal on a 600 G2 with an i5-6500 quad and 16gbs with a nice 19" LCD for less than $100, so I jumped on it. Not to get too personal, but I have PTSD and so I am eligible for low cost refurbs, but only some are decent.
      Anyway so I got a 500gb SSD to replace the 200 something SSD it comes with and I'll try to sell that, I got a WD 1tb blue, and since I'm on a bit of a budget and it's a low profile machine, I got a GTX 1030 OC edition.
      I haven't wanted to get too crazy, because I don't know the machine inside and out, or didn't until I saw your video.
      I guess it may be a dumb question, but I was just sitting here thinking, should I install everything and then start up for the first time?
      I'm not a hardcore gamer, but the few games I like to play are graphics intensive- Red Dead 2 and GTA 4/5. If I can get GTA 4. Seems like people say you can't play it on windows 10.
      I like Call of Duty, etc.. but really I'm not looking to play at full HD or anything perfect. To start, since this is my first gaming rig, and a cheap one, I thought the 1030 would suffice? Got it for like $60 open box on Amazon.
      Would you suggest something else in that range?
