i really loved seeing the difference in faces btwn cheer sunny and her, this new one is so pretty like she's gorgeous i was just blown away lol (i also love your earrings in the video) omg stop im trying to write a comment and every new detail on her just wows me so much i get distracted (oh my god the high heel crocs why do i love themmm STOP the straps on them move??? im obsessed with these [edit: for luna's ugly shoes oh no]) and youre so right about easier unboxing and no rock hard hair for kids!! crunchy, hard hair would turn me off of a toy immediately when i was a kid
It's crazy how different she and Cheer Sunny look! I still love both of them, but they're almost like completely different characters. Also thanks, I got the earrings at a craft show 😁 I will never understand why they put soooo much gel in the hair 😬 hair play is one of my favorite parts of dolls, and when I was a kid, I never had to wash a doll out before I could use a brush on it, but it would have annoyed me!
My mom had a purse like Luna's in the 70s. It was made of wood and you could really clout someone over the head with it. The hair on both my Luna and Sunny were of disappointing quality but I did the best I could with them.
LOL sounds dangerous 😆 I washed their hair out and Luna's is still a bit dry at the bottom. I think she has some metallic nylon which tends to be tricky to deal with. Sunny I didn't fully wash, just enough to soften the gel and allow some movement.
I am working on filling in the gaps in my Rainbow High collection currently while figuring out if I want to try to get more into MH Gen 3 or Bratz (I intensely dislike that it almost feels like MGA is sacrificing Rainbow High and Shadow High for Bratz). I really don't want to buy the RH Rebrand dolls as well, and the Rebrand just feels so wrong to me. It really hurts to see SH/RH suffer like this. I feel very fortunate to have a complete Shadow High collection because I intensely love that doll line, it is very special to me, and it really got me through a lot as my comfort doll line, especially N and V, my perfect goth angels. As for the Madison Twins 2-Pack, no 2-Pack can ever measure up to the Storm Twins for me (I literally have 5 sets of them), but they are a very solid release. Sunny isn't my personal favorite, but she is cute. Luna looks great in this 2-Pack and for restyle pieces, I highly recommend using Dia Mante's silver bodysuit on her or a combination of Mila's mesh top paired with Krystal's or Mila's tights under her silver top.🖤💜
I would say you probably will enjoy G3 MH, especially now. They seem to be leaning more into dark colors and are experimenting with their designs. I already loved what they were doing but they keep getting better in my opinion! I wouldn't say MGA is sacrificing RH for Bratz. My theory is the Alwayz Bratz line is aimed to the adult collectors they knew they would lose when RH rebranded. I love your ideas for restyling Luna!! I just don't have any of the pieces except Krystal's tights 😆 but I have been meaning to maybe get Mila's clothes for Scarlet, so maybe they can share haha.
I think a lot of people probably feel that way right now. Hopefully the second hand market doesn't get too pricey now that most of the dolls are disappearing from retailers.
Okay I finally filmed my video of Sunny and Luna (I just have to edit it ;) so I can finally watch your video 😄 They really are so gorgeous and I’m afraid opening them made me realize what amazing quality they are and it made me sad for the RH reboot when I was more optimistic before 😅
Yeah, it shows you just how much we're gonna miss out on ☹️ but at least there are other brands we can put our focus on. I'm looking forward to Monster High's offerings for the year for sure, so it'll be nice to not have to choose what to put money towards 😆

I don't really like yellow either, and yet I have Sheryl and Delilah and also recently bought yellow umbrella dress Sunny. Even so, I have more Shadow High than Rainbow High (RH: Sheryl, Delilah, yellow umbrella Sunny, Sabrina. SH: Shanelle, Heather, Uma, Zooey, Berrie)
I guess that just shows how great the designs are when they can even make you like a color you don't normally like! I'd say I'm pretty even on RH to SH dolls. They both have their strong and weak points!

I wound up buying her on Ebay from a seller in Poland! I paid 110 plus shipping, but I filmed her video yesterday and she is just lovely. I'm hoping to post it for Lunar New Year!
