- The Tweens are another MGA line that I've always liked...and another that is starting to be downgraded. It's unfortunate, but MGA's business model seems to be making a big shift. But Cassie is still pretty decent all things considered. Let me know what you think of her!

There's two brand-new LOL OMGs being sold on the MGA website that came out of nowhere and appear to be full quality, i.e., detailed, layered outfits, wrist articulation, and stands. There were no leaks and no fanfare that I could see. I have no idea what MGA is doing. I thought the latest Tweens were very disappointing and I didn't get any.
I saw them! I was shocked too, they really just appeared fron thin air. They definitely seem a lot nicer than this last bunch of tween, and the nail art OMGs. It's very weird, but gives me some hope.
The lack of wrist movement has sort of kept me away from this line, but this particular doll is pretty cute, probably my favorite of the tweens that have afro puffs. This is making me want to go back and maybe purchase the tweens I've been holding off on and sort of forgot about, like one of the masquerade dolls. I think the boy in that line also came with a CD player and the queen of hearts had the tiara thing.
I do remember the Queen of Hearts having a similar tiara. Cassie is kind of similar to her with having the puffs and all that lol. This will probably be the last one of the tweens I get if by some miracle they continue. But the fact that they're cutting back makes me think they're fading away.
She's my favorite of the bunch and has been catching my eye as well as I walk down the doll aisle (I also think it might be the purple for me) but I haven't quite gotten myself to the point of getting her. I didn't know that they no longer had wrist articulation or stands either. Your review is the only one I have seen on this line so far. That's such a shame for the changes since the Tweens is the other doll line that I collect outside of RH (I do have one-off of other lines) and I was hoping to have them now that RH is moving towards being a child-centric line. 😞
It is really disappointing, and also kind of weird when they don't seem to be downgrading OMGs. Yeah, the nail art ones were a little simple, but the new BFFs they just released are on point. Unless they just want to streamline and stick with only OMG.
I’m not as taken with this recent series of the tweens so didn’t buy any but I am loving the two new lol omg dolls that have been released so fingers crossed they’re going to continue 🫶🥰❤
Yes, the two new OMGs are a nice surprise! If they have to cut the Tweens to let OMG live I would rather have that than lose the whole line, but I guess we'll see.

I saw the leaks of these dolls but haven’t heard about them since. I haven’t even seen these in my stores. Cassie really is super cute. I think I also don’t mind the lack of wrist articulation. I’m not generally into sequins either but you made sense on why it works for Cassie. I wish she came with a little tank underneath the dress to go with those cool pants!

I can’t believe how they didn’t give her a stand at least. If not the same one they had been using, at least a basic one lol it’s not like they can stand on their own
Yeah, seriously, it's very frustrating. I managed to prop her up to take the picture for the thumbnail, but what if I want to put her somewhere that doesn't have something she can lean against? I'm not sure what kind of stands might be a good substitute either.
She's cute but I prefer Ellie Fly more, that said OMG just dropped some dolls on the MGA website and they got more stuff coming up so OMG is still alive
I did see the new OMGs, and I like them! I think if MGA was going to cut back, though, the Tweens would be cut before they'd drop OMG. Which I guess is fine, but I'd miss the Tweens a lot.
