did you at least have a decent turntable, cartridge, and stereo system back then..? when I first started getting into records, I didn't have the greatest equipment so a lot of records got messed up from being played or scratched or whatever ..it kind of sucked ..it took me a while to get into the groove (see what I did there?! lol) unfortunately, I could no longer get original pressings of some of those old albums after a few years..

@shipsahoy1793 don't remember exactly, but I recall we had pretty good equipment for our age (young teens) at the time, including Marantz, Technics, Pioneer .
