Had the CT5-V and just got my Blackwing with white interior. I love that I can use it as a luxury looking car without too much flex but at the same time I can rocket through the Highway with no one suspecting what is coming out of this 4 door sedan. I think that undercover sports car look and performance was my favorite selling point.
Thats exactly why im in love with it. It's the do-it-all 'super-saloon', it has massive power/acceleration, 3 pedals, great interior & comfort, but also handles & brakes like nobodys business. Running on ps4s's it pulls 1.05g of grip, which isnt too far off the c7 z06 on the same tires! And i love that it looks inconspicuous to normal people (like the ctsv wagons), but to me & other car guys, the design is menacing & perfect. Im 25, but still have never been the type to want the super-flashy cars that draw attention (like a corvette), so this beast checks all the boxes.. except for the affordability part lol. Congrats on your purchase though, the white interior is the way to have it👍

What's incredible is that the blackwing wing has a top speed of 209mph!!! That's incredible for a 668hp sedan!!! Aerodynamics are definitely on point.

I hear you there. Especially looking for one for sale. Even base model spec's are asking $115-120k. Im crying inside because my 2 all time favorite GM cars (this & c7 zr1 ztk manual) are both very rare, sought after, last-of-their-kind rides costing wellll over $100k. And safe to say theyre only gonna go up in price. So when the day comes that i could afford an $80-100k car.. theyll both be atleast 2x that😭😭😭

I got the junior with the 472 hp and it is such pleasure to drive. Every time I get on it a little it’s such joy. There is really something to it that put a smile on my face
There is almost ZERO difference between the CT4 blackwing and the CT5 Blackwing. a 0.1 second difference in terms of 0-60 and if your not gonna track the car who GAF about a 0.1 second. Theres a MILLION variables for that type of time difference. lol. #CadillacVForTheWin

There's a company that just came out with a ported blower modification for the blackwing and has dynoed an extra 50hp. The fact that this is a manual is probably ties for the biggest selling point.

1st and last Cadillac was 04 SRX. Loved the ride, sound system and instrumentation which reminded me of a beautiful hand crafted watch.

I've always knew Cadillac was going this direction since a lil boy I've always heard ppl talk about caddy's so I figured they done mastered American luxury all they had to do was make a fast reliable motor and combine it with luxury and here we have the Black Wing

Your points regarding seating, power, and comfort were the main arguments in the past for choosing a European sports sedan over a domestic sports car. You're basically getting everything in one vehicle.
Cadillac did an outstanding job with the design of this car. The dual clutch manual transmission is a genius move.

@@iliakrestinskii7038 You will be happy enough with a Mustang GT or a nice GT350, or a Roush Mustang. Stay away from the manual Hellcat because they will break tires loose at high speeds. I had them all except my Hellcat were automatics.

An old friend of mine from the mid and late '70's (I just turned 70, BTW!) who grew up in the '60's (as I did) and lived through the real Muscle Car Era told me at the time (when cars were being choked with smog equipment and outfitted with low compression engines for unleaded gas) that cars "are gone", meaning that the times of buying a new car with any kind of descent performance were surely over for good. He was right, for the time. Now, to my amazement, we've entered a new era where apparently the engineers have gone back to the drawing board and are now turning out monsters like these that would blow one of my old Pontiac GTO into the weeds! Those were the days when turning in a 14 second quarter off the showroom floor was entirely possible, but only with the best FACTORY engines and horsepower. Now, I just don't know what to say but WOW!
You should absolutely sell the Tesla if you're OK with the cost of gas. The Tesla will be in a landfill in a few years when the battery dies, this thing will be a collector's item.

Never been crazy about Cadillacs (aside from the XLR) and honestly just don't get excited about anything modern that comes out of GM's lineup. But this car is sooo desirable. A 4-door, manual, rwd, v8 with a ton of power? Man that is a breath of fresh air and exhaust.

Red is NUMBER 1 for the most ticketed cars by cops. It draws the eye...hahaha Should've went with the pearl white, then changed to Crystal white. Not sure what they call it now but that color with the carbon fiber accent packages is STUPID 🔥

I had a redeye charger for almost 2 years .I’ve been trying to find a jailbreak charger but I drove one of these for the first time a week ago and I found a new love . This car is extremely underrated. I absolutely love both cars but this Cadillac will be my next purchase.

I own a 22 CT5-V you can tell the difference from the Blackwing aesthetically, the lower front fender & small side vents behind the front tires but that's about it.
Different exhaust as well, correct?

@@wesleywalls7582 also 4 in the V, just the square tips are not connected with the pipes. diffuser is different. side fender vents are extra, also brake calipers, BW has Front 6 and rear 4, V has Front 4 and rear single. that's about it, if you don't option the carbons, they are really hard to tell differences. I have 2020 Base V AWD in Evergreen Color, have the Platium pkg, probably keep it for 10 years, lol, it's not cheep

This is car is one huge middle finger to the modern C63 amg. They used to make C63's like this back in the day, a hand built 6.2 liter monsters. Now the c63 has a 4-cylinder. This is what the modern C63 should have been. And I got to respect cadillac for this car.

This is an amazing car. I love that you can get it in a manual and they didn’t just throw a 10 speed auto in it with paddle shifters like every MFG is doing these days.
tesla sucks we all agree
This is a great car, but the problem is that there is a car called Corvette C8 and its priced similar to this, the top trims for both car are around $100,000, while this has bigger numbers on horsepower, the Corvette C8 can do 0-100 in 2.9 secs, and CT5-V Blackwing is only 3.5 secs. Except this has a 4 seats and manual advantage, the Corvette C8 completely destroyed it in performance, exterior and interior. In the end, the line up for Corvette C8 is way too long right now, this might be one of the reasons someone who would buy CT5-V Blackwing.
The C8 and CT5-V BW couldn’t be more opposite. 4 doors vs 2, front vs mid-engined, supercharged vs normally aspirated, manual vs automatic. I doubt anyone is cross shopping these unless their criteria is GM performance cars.
Who compares a 2 seater sports car with a performance sedan. With the CTV, the best of both world, you can carry your family and friends when you need it, and track it on the weekends.
Gimme the CT5. Very unique. Anyone remember the Chevy SS that looked like a regular Uber.
You also can't take the whole family in the C8, but one of these will fit the average family.
