If you are truly listening to the broadcast to learn, not just to respond, there's no way someone could even excuse him of that, when this clearly is a man who has covered all his bases on any given topic.

We tend to view a person’s refusal to tolerate our attempts to denigrate them as an inability to accept truth. He called her names first and that is when the call went left. She felt he came across as bitter and harsh. He told her that her concerns were a matter of opinion and if she could not handle his truth she was a weak individual. What followed was cruel. Calling her fat and making her feel insignificant because of her age was uncalled for. He could have simply told her that he did not agree with her and attempted to clarify his stance.
