      I saw him in November 1976. I love music, but that show focused my interest especially to singers. And I still haven't come across anyone with a better set of pipes than Elvis!

      Actually 1977 was a very productive year.
      Many concerts, not just a few...
      And some really fine, specially in March.

    The man could still rock. No it didn't have the same energy and zip but he was pretty much flawless here. Just sounds older and more laid back to me. So cool version

    i really think he was trying to make up in the 1970's for all the years and time in the 1960's he was not able to do Live Concert Tours because of both Films and Studio commitments he was legally stuck loyally with by Colonel Tom Parker to fulfill. Sadly by this time he really needed a long break for his health first from the mass Concerts set up by Colonel Tom Parker he was scheduled to do.

    • @PauloPereira-jj4jv
      @PauloPereira-jj4jv Před 2 lety +2

      Actually Parker agreed about vacations from the tours.
      Elvis DIDN'T want to stop.
      He hated to be at home "doing nothing". So he REFUSED the idea.

    It's sad to hear him in this condition. His voice is so weak and frail and nasally. I'm glad to hear he's still rocking though.

    RE: Thea vd broek... Actually it was the Two Live Touring TCB Rhythm Section Band Bass Players Emory Gordy Jr/Duke Bardwell between Jerry Scheff's Two Stints '69-'73 and '75-'77 he didn't like as much as Jerry Scheff. He liked both Ronnie Tutt and Larrie Londin on the Drums.

    • @BBQFanNo1
      @BBQFanNo1 Před 6 lety +4

      In fact Larrie Londin was his Drummer in his last 5 Shows in late June before he took a Touring break in the Summer 1977 which sadly he died in August. He was planning on bringing Ronnie Tutt with him on his next Tour beginning August 18 two days after he died.

    This was fantastic, especially for 1977. I'd love someone to remix/remaster the sound. This must be a soundboard recording? I would think a lot could be done with it, but I'm not a sound engineer. I'm not even sound, Lol.

    By 1966 the Beatles got tired of doing Live Concert Shows and the screaming Girls longing for the Studio more. By 1967 Elvis Presley got tired of doing garbage Movie Scripts and ridiculous degrading humiliating Songs in them such as Old McDonald he was given and wanted to return to doing Live Concert Shows.

      Dann übersetze das mal durch Google.
      Die Beatles haben von 62-70 auch viel Schrott gesungen.
      Zum Teil noch nicht mal die Töne in den Studio Aufnahmen geschafft.
      Die hatten die besten Ton Ingenieure der Welt.
      Die haben sehr gute Texte geschrieben,das ist es auch gewesen.
      Live 64 haben die in Amerika versucht,ihr Englischen Akzent zu verstecken.
      Was Natürlich schief gelaufen ist.
      Beatles als live Band ist ne Katastrophe gewesen.
      Keine Töne getroffen usw
      Elvis hingegen konnte alles Singen.
      Und das macht eine Legende aus.
      Höre gerne die Beatles...
