- At the end of our Mull of Kintyre and Arran Scottish Tour we take the ferry back from Arran to Ardossan and on to Ayr and we have some issues with ferry boarding, sat navs and laundry.

Thanks for watching!
Thanks 4 the work 8 effort you put into videos but love the dogs best and vews when driving.
Thank you.☺️
We stayed at the Ardrossan ferry car park on our way back from Scotland in April £5 and secure, we turned right at the first cross roads out of the town and more or less followed the coast to Ayr. Also in all the years we have been using a Sat Nav we have never used the voice guidance we find we follow the map better.❤ We have had an enforced break from watching many CZcamsrs because we have been looking after our daughter’s dog and he barks at any animal that appears on the screen😊
I think we got confused listening to two similar sat nav voices. We're just using the original now.
Stayed in Ayr many moons ago, we used it has a base to see my partners mums birthplace ( Partick) found lots of quirky things to see.
Hi Bob, Jenny and Poppy, nice Ferry journey and drive to the campsite. A lovely campsite but a little modernisation need I think. Thats handy being able to see what you have on your iphone on your screen on the motorhome. Your next campsite looked pretty nice too. Lovely walk, Poppy was enjoying herself. Thank you for sharing x Julie and Tony x
Yes, the Android auto or the Apple Carplay is very useful, especially if looking for a laundry 😬
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Ha ha 😂
Really pretty site.
Love Poppy walking interesting how the caravan parks differ in amenities 😂
How does Poppy know when you are on the final approach? The timing of the shake is amazing.
Don't know, maybe she can smell the campsite 😅
Another nice video ,thank you both for the trip .☘️💚🤗
I worked at Dam Park before the rugby club took it over from the council last year. There are a lot of nice walks around Craigie Estate some go along the River Ayr.
We have stayed at this site before. We walked to the city past Cromwells citadel & onto the beach.
Beautiful Alba Scotland! 🏴. Good advice about the electric cable! 🙂
We're not long back from craig tara me and my wife would have loved to have met you both maybe another time
This was recorded around June 4th. Catch you some time! 😊
Nice to see you in my neck of the woods, I live in Muirkirk about 23miles from Craigie gardens
We stayed at this site many years ago and there was a rather obnoxious female warden ( warder (!) ) . Couples we met on neighbouring pitches had all found her similarly possessing a personality issue. We haven’t been since.
Thanks for sharing both.
The lady was very pleasant. 😊👍
Seems to be bigger then I remember from our stay there. I also seem to remember walking down the riverbank into Ayr.
Yes, we drove over the river as we left!
Hi Bob and Jenny another great video and know how much a rabbit warren Ayr is to get round from my own experience! It’s got a lovely seafront though I think the town has gone down a lot to be honest but alloway where we got married is beautiful and well worth visiting it’s not far from that site it’s amazing to see Robert burns birthplace the brig o doon and tam o shanters Kirk we married there at brig o doon hotel!
The site looks nice and clean but agree with you both probably needs some updating hope you had a lovely stay all the best Daniel
Thanks for the tips!
Never made it to Craigie Gardens even when we knew the wardens LOL
Well that answered my question I ask you about in built satnav the other week.
I recently found your channel and enjoy watching your videos. Even though I’m not a caravan person, I still enjoy see all your adventures. So many interesting places I never heard of and I espcially like to watch the ferry crossings in Scotland, as well as coastal roads in the UK. Cheers from Norway 😊
Thank you. There are a lot of ferry crossings in Norway!
@@BobEarnshawMoHo It sure is 😊
The toilet facilities at Craigie are positively luxurious compared to the ones at the Ccc site at Norwich. 😏 we visited that site last summer & the facilities were right out of the 1970’s. Absolutely shocking for a club site.
Not been to Norwich, but sounds like we might give it a miss. 😊👍
Thank you Jenny for braving ferries! So glad that the weather is cooperating. Here in USA Midwest temperatures will be about 37°C. Enjoy your adventure!
It's the coldest June I can remember!
It all adds up and you visited my local Sainsbury’s fuel station. Great video thanks for sharing.
Fantastic Video. Well Done.
One of my favourite sites
I’m panicking listening to Mrs Sat nag and I’m static on the sofa!
It wasn't Mrs Sat Nag that was having a fit - it was the built in one! 😁

😬😊😊
Do you think you will stick with the tourer 2 or will you get away with the inbuilt one eventually (or the Android Auto?) I gave up on the tom tom one built into ours and bought the Tourer Two which is 80% well behaved and 20% naughty with its directions (think it likes to have a bit of fun now and again!). Thanks for showing us around, it’s one we have nearly ended up on before so great to see what it’s like. All the very best, David & Rachel 👍
Think we prefer the Tourer Two for a few reasons. I will need to do a video comparing the two.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
you could have parked at ayr beech carpark bob
Thanks but we prefer campsites.
Can you change one of the sat navs to a male voice? Might make comparison a bit easier?
Good idea, I could change the Avtex, but she wouldn't be Mrs Sat Nag then. No idea how to change the built in one. 🤔
