Oh that explains the 10th place because of the age issues with 30 pt deductions which is absurd tbh 25:42 that’s why I’m really curious why the AG Elite of PH didn’t get at least top 5 in my book because certainly you girls are far way better than the other teams I guess but overall you all did a fantastic job representing our country 💙❤️💛

That's pretty much the backstory. This team still showed grit and determination even though they knew the odds were stacked against them. Hope other commenters realize that.
Even with that penalty handicap during semis they still advanced to the finals, which was a miracle tbh as there were 12 teams competing AFAIK.

Yes they did and the show must go on despite the penalties. If I’m not mistaken the parents/relatives of the girls funded them to join the ICU which is a huge representation already for the country and I salute everyone who have helped the girls compete. The cheer world is excited for what’s next for SPCP and next year will be all out for the podium. Let’s go!

@@Glampalorians I just wanted to ask also what place they could’ve got regardless of the deductions?

@@djkid577 yes we paid for everything. The coed team was lucky as they had full subsidy from the government.

I had a feeling na may technical deductions tayo but I am not expecting na 30 points yung deduction natin from our cheerleaders’ age alone. Tapos may additional pa tayo from the falls. That makes so much sense kasi malakas yung routine natin compared to some countries who competed.

Yes the 30-point handicap was just too big to overcome. Lots of learnings for everyone for sure. It's a miracle that the team was even able to compete!
