Mine has a uncle that is a doctor, mom is a radiology tech (X-ray, MRI, CT), dad was a Respiratory Therapist, aunt is a radiologist (ultrasound), and I am a certified lifeguard.

i had stretched my mcl cheering as well trying to tumbling, the pain is definitely not fun but over time it has healed but i still wear my brace when i’m active. prayers for your perri❤️❤️

I cried. I was marching backwards my junior year and my right ankle was an inch from breaking. I marched another minute and marched a half mile after the game. I hope that her confidence doesn’t go down. After my injury I was terrified to march backwards even with a brace.

i sprained my MCL playing hockey and bruised my femur and was out for at least 5 weeks. we did end up getting an MRI. But i hope Perri heals quickly. knee injuries run in my family with my dad side having a total of 5 knee injuries split between my two older girl cousins.
I have a cheer comp this Sunday and it’s Wednesday today. So I am really nervous. But I loved alllllll of these routines!!! ❤❤❤

I was a gymnast. I've done the same thing to my knee. It heals, but I definitely would try to do extra knee-strengthening exercises. I'm so sorry, Perri. I know how painful that can be.

Please monitor the knee! I ruptured my acl playing touch football and at first it was diagnosed as a mcl sprain and they didn’t do an MRI but I went for an MRI a week later due to it still giving way and turns out I did ACL, MCL and LCL. Complete rupture of the ACL. Get better soon Perri ❤
I know that heartbreaking feeling when you are part of a team and you are the reason the routine goes wrong. But when you have an injury you can't be responsible ... It's impossible to continue at your normal skill level.
I absolutely 100% adore that the coach took Perri down to her next team as they warmed up etc .. she is still part of that team even if she can't compete. It's important Perri knows that and the coaches obviously have a very good understanding of the psychology behind "team" and just what makes a good team. It's so much more than having good skills.
You could also see when quickly training the replacement Perri that there is so much love and support in the teams as the girls were smiling and laughing still but working hard. It was like there wasn't any undue pressure being placed upon her.
The team dynamics shine out. Off and on the floor. Rest up Perri. You will back at it before you know it but give yourself time to heal xx

As the flyer in cheer I have had so many injuries but I think my most recent was 2weeks ago where my team threw me in a basket toss and just didn’t catch me so I broke my ankle and got a concussion
