@@AbuAbdulAdheem his point was that listening to these debates with atheists and christians opens the door for shaytan to cast doubts on a layman. Our Iman is the most precious thing we have, so it is best for a Muslim with minimal knowledge to protect and shield their Iman from shaytan and doubts. There are far better sources of knowledge than debates.
This is because Ikhlas is only half of the equation. The other half is correctness (according to the Sunnah).
Jazaka Allahu khayran
Al-Bayhaqi narrated in az-Zuhd al-Kabeer (180) with a saheeh isnaad from al-Hasan al-Basri that it was said to him: People come to your gathering to pick on any error you may make, so that they can make it a reason to gossip about you. He said: Do not worry about it, for I thought of the pleasure of being close to Allah and I hope for that; I thought of Paradise and I hope for that; I thought of al-hoor al-‘een and I hope for that; I thought of being safe from people, and I found no way to achieve that. When I saw that people are not pleased with their Creator, I realized that they will never be pleased with a created being like themselves.
Ash-Shafii (may Allah have mercy on him) said to Yunus ibn ‘Abd al-A‘la: "O Abu Moosa, if you were to strive your utmost to please all the people, there is no way to do that. As that is the case, then make your deeds and your intention sincerely for Allah alone."

Just do best you can to spread the message, minimum would be with ur behaviors and manners, leave the rest to Allah, if Allah opens their heart, good,if not, may Allah guide them, and go about your day ❤

Dawah online or offline should be to Allah(swt), and should involve giving glad tidings of the reward of Paradise to those who BELIEVE, and warning of the punishment of the Hell Fire for those who DISBELIEVE.
As you rightly said, it should be done with sincerity, but also with knowledge and wisdom.
In spite of all the aforementioned measures taken, the message conveyed will not please everyone, simply because they do not believe.
This was the TEST that all Prophets faced, with some of them killed, simply because they warned the Nations they were sent to against worshipping other than Allah(swt).
The one giving Dawah should be steadfast on conveying the message solely and not be caving in to the reaction of viewership or the audience.
