Dont get it twisted though: Pacquiao should have won this. He realistically got 8 rounds, but this was nowhere NEAR the blowout people say it was. Neither guy really landed much of anything that was telling.

A great professional example of how to fix a fight. You don't just fix the scoring, but you fix as well the commentators and the referee. The only thing they couldn't fix was the fight itself and the public noise. Pac ruined Bradley in that triology.

Its pretty clear that Bradley won 1-3 and 9-11. 4 and 5 were 2:45 minutes going Bradley's way and then Pac landed two shots that stumbled Bradley but that doesn't negate losing most of the round unless you knock him down. I'm just baffled so many people are scoring this fight for PacMan.
It was a fix because 2 out of 3 judges scored the fifth rd for Bradley. The fifth was the rd of the fight Bradley got the most hurt. Even a blind man would have scored it for Pac. 54 out of 57 pundits scored the fight for Pac.
After the decision the WBO ordered a video review of the bout. The five judges on the WBO's committee all scored the fight in Pacquiao's favor 118-110, 117-111, 117-111, 116-112 and 115-113.
However, the WBO cannot overturn the result of the fight.
The Associated Press and the Los Angeles Times scored the fight 117-111 in favor of Pacquiao, while ESPN and Harold Lederman of HBO both scored the fight 119-109, also in Pacquiao's favor.ESPN boxing analyst and longtime trainer Teddy Atlas said that Pacquiao clearly won, and that it was a case of either incompetence or corruption. He added that boxing needs a national commission, so that judges can be accountable for their decisions. According to the AP's count, Pacquiao landed 253 punches to Bradley's 159. Former champion Oscar De La Hoya said that Bradley should have refused the title belt, and Pacquiao had won the fight.
@@Ricksta19811 are your eyes blind to see that,..? I replayed the match in slow motion until I watched it for up to 2 hours to make sure the numbers were both. Bredley only got 110 points while Pacman 120 points. This needs to be investigated for mafia and corruption games. I encourage pacma to collect evidence from the match so that the boxing world is free from mafia and corruption.

I remember being very outraged the night of the fight, because I thought Manny Pacquiao won a lopsided victory. But after watching this fight several times over the last 11 years, I still score it for Pacquiao, but see it a lot closer. Pacquiao obviously landed the harder and more eye catching shots for the most part, but he fought a lot in spurts while Bradley was a lot more consistent throughout the rounds. I scored it 115-113 for Pacquiao, here’s how I scored it:
Round 1: 10/9 Bradley
Round 2: 9/10 Pacquiao (19-19)
Round 3: 9/10 Pacquiao (28-29)
Round 4: 9/10 Pacquiao (37-39)
Round 5: 9/10 Pacquiao (46-49)
Round 6: 9/10 Pacquiao (55-59)
Round 7: 9/10 Pacquiao (64-69)
Round 8: 9/10 Pacquiao (73-79)
Round 9: 10/9 Bradley (83-88)
Round 10: 10/9 Bradley (93-97)
Round 11: 10/9 Bradley (103-106)

I just finished making a similar post, I had the same scoring 15-13 for Pacman but there was alot of swing rounds and i can see where TB got the decision.

You're kidding right. You haven't watched nearly enough boxing to say that. Bradley won the last 3 rounds decisively. He also won the first 2 rounds clearly. Manny won the middle rounds and even hurt Bradley. The judges could have seen one or two rounds in Bradly's favour because all the rounds he started off fast but Manny ended strong. I had Manny winning 7-5 but no doubt Manny lost those last few rounds.

Bradley was the more active fighter constantly scoring points even if they weren’t hard punches. Just because Mannh would finish the last 50 seconds of every round going on flurys doesn’t make him the winner
I said at the time of the fight that it was one sided in favor of Pacquiao and years from now people was going to look back and say Bradley won that first fight. The same could be said about Tyson Fury, and Wilder's first fight, it was no draw Wilder won by knockout.
Rounds aren't scored strictly on scoring a punch. Affect of the punches landed goes into effect. Who's controlling the tempo, who's more aggressive and of course the harder shots. Manny won this fight.
