I'm fed up with buying lip liners that never set down. Obviously, the blurb states how long lasting they are but, in reality, they don't last more than 10 minutes!
Mel Thompson (may she rest in eternal peace 🕊🙏🏻🕊) always "tested" a new lip liner on the back of her hand.
So, at the beginning of the vid, using the new lip liner, she would draw a few lines on her hand.
At the end of the vid she would rub the lip liner lines, if they rubbed away, the lip liner was deemed useless , but ..... if they remained, then it was obvious that the liner was great.
I only buy lip liners that have been properly reviewed and tested, otherwise I could be wasting my money.
Oh yes, the bronzer looks very, very natural 😍

There's a nurse I work with that gave birth and is freezing her breast milk and taking some to homeless shelters and food banks to give to moms with babies. Some may find this off putting but I think it's a beautiful gift. Love how your look turned out.
My partner has friends that asked us to keep an eye out for formula. Their little guy has a sensitive stomach too, so I feel like they're even more stressed. Glad you have family looking out for you guys.

I feel like there are coming out a lot of palettes that are close to my "dream natasha denona retro midi palette" (closer to the mini one with various green shades, mauves, taupes, neutrals and some peachy shades) but none that I have seen so far hits the spot quite right so I'm like "well I'm not gonna buy it then :(". My wallet's probably happy about that :D

My heart goes out to all you mamas with infants and the formula situation!!! My little one is 5 now and she still occasionally wakes. We've always chalked it up to growth spurts other than when she was teething AND having growth spurts.

I had a lime green winter coat too from American Girl! Lol I would wear it all the time growing up. I'm not into the palette I only ever got the So Jaded and have never gotten another 30 pan from them too many shades for me lol. But I am going to get one of the bronzers and glosses, excited to try the bronzer and I love the So glassy formula. Beautiful look as always!

I hadn't heard of this palette until I saw another review. Love the greens! I prefer their mega palettes because they seem to combine colors from their smaller palettes! Leah Janae did a really pretty look using the greens in this palette.
Beautiful, as always! I'm usually intrigued by the larger Colourpop palettes but I have so much eyeshadow that I just can't justify it. Maybe one day💕

I purchased the earthy palette from beauty bay about 2 months ago and haven’t had a chance to play with it, so I think I’ll skip on this one even though BB seems to be a little more on the warm side. But I’m with you on losing interest in makeup for a while. I’m slowly starting to get back into it. The other day I surprised myself when I chose to create a purple look. Funny yesterday I created a similar look with a green palette I got in my boxy charm box a while back.

I'll be thinking about you with the formula shortage. My kids are out of breastfeeding/formula feeding age, but I think I would be so anxious if they were still in that season of life.
My bf bought me the Essence Double Trouble in Waterproof and I use the flat part to coat the lashes and the curve side lifts the lashes which I love. Lash Princess is good but I hate super wet masquara cause my lashes tranfer to the browbone. lol

This ColourPop palette is so pretty! I’m very torn on if I need it or not 😭 I want it! Do I need it since I have all the monochromatic palettes and the Tye Dye collection? I would say some of the greens in this palette are pretty similar to those! 💗 Or, if you want a less expensive and smaller alternative- the Limelight is definitely a great option!
Formula comment!-
If you or anyone you know get desperate, goat milk is the closest thing to human milk. You can add vitamin drops like d and such to it help get the same vits you’d get from breast feeding!! Local farms or certain stores will have it for sale. I’m thinking about all of the moms having a hard time just knowing their babies will get fed. Much love, beautiful look as always❤️

maybe it's just lighting, but I swear your eyes just kept getting greener the longer the video went. Love the eye look. I also love a buildable bronzer so I may check this one out, but I'm still debating that Flower Beauty one you keep recommending! I love my Kylie Cosmetics one but it can be a bit light during the summer.

The formula shortage also applies to medical nutrition and feeding tube formula. My 8 year old needs medical nutrition and it’s been such a hard time. I hope the shortage ends soon for all who are in need!

My friends son is also on the hunt for baby formula. The whole family is looking for it. I believe they found some at Costco. It’s just so strange how the whole country has to go through all of this. Will your baby be starting on baby food soon? It’s so cute when they eat. They look like little baby birdies when they open their mouths ❤️
It's seriously such a crazy time! I hope they are able to find all that they need. 💗 I'm so thankful that he is starting to eat solids because at least we know that he won't be on formula forever! Strawberries are his favorite and it really is so cute watching him try to figure out eating.

That is a great tip to go to stores that are near senior living facilities or maybe a town that is mostly seniors and you should definitely be able to find baby products they might have taken all the wipes already but diapers and formula should still be there LOL when the pandemic first happened I remember I tried to buy wipes and diapers at the same time and I was told that I could not and I have a 2-year-old and diapers and a three year old and diapers so I need two different size diapers but you could only buy one box of diapers at a time which is crazy because what about people who have multiple children and diapers and need multiple sizes it was absolutely crazy having a baby this pandemic is life-altering and more ways than we think
Oh my gosh that is seriously so crazy! I can't imagine how stressful it must have been having babies during the beginning on the pandemic when everything everywhere was sold out. It's been such a crazy few years!
I don't know how true it is you'd have to do your own research and ask your pediatrician but my pediatrician said that all formulas are pretty much made in the same factories and are all the same so if you find a store brand go ahead and pick it up it's better than not picking anything up or if you find Similac and you use enfamil or the other way around just find the most comparable formula but from what I understand all baby formula is made the same and a lot of times in the same factory and then just put in different packaging
I tested a whole bunch of them with my first child and the only difference I noticed was texture. The Walmart store brand was a rougher texture and didn’t dissolve as easily. But the Target Up&Up store brand was amazing and so much less expensive. It was recommended to me by the NICU nurses so I felt good using it.
Thank you for sharing! I will definitely have to look into it because there have been a few times that we've gotten close to being without any. I am thankful that we have been able to find it randomly but you just never know how long the shortage which actually last which is a little stressful.

I own an in home daycare and I have to provide formula. The amount I’ve had to spend just to have some has been ridiculous. Not happy about the price gougers at all.

Andrea which mascara do you like the best it cosmetics super hero or urban decay perversion? I have oily eyelids so which one would be smudge and flake free?
I think the It Cosmetics Superhero is more dramatic and stays in place better for me! I have heard some people say that it flakes on them but I haven't had that experience!
I was really interested in this collection, but i might only be getting the glosses. The palette is gorgeous, but a little too warm for my skin tone. That bronzer looks absolutely perfect, but the oversized packaging is a deal breaker for me, especially if it's difficult to open (my arthritis makes even easy packaging a struggle). Ugh. Why can't they stick with the smaller cardboard style packaging for all their cheek products?!
I know I definitely agree with you! The package really is so difficult to open and sometimes hard to hold because it's so awkwardly big. I hope they go back to the cardboard packaging in the future!

Andrea you can give your baby cows's or goat's milk with vitamins drops from the doctor, this is what we used to do before formula if mother's milk didn't work.

Thankfully we have enough to last probably about a month but it’s scary to think about what’s after that.
I did not know that about formula :/ well my daughter is 7 and I got in the mail a Similac sample set box (no clue why lol) so any mom's out here that are in need lmk it's yours! I also would have my mom and my sister constantly picking things up if they had to go to Walgreens or CVS or Walmart or Target if they had to go anywhere everybody was working for diapers wipes and formula for us it helps if you can have family members or friends also keep their eye out and pick it up for you and you can pay them back when you get it from them that really helps to
It really lessen the stress when you know there are other people who are able to help and just keep their eyes open too! 💗

I hear you we are having a tough time getting formula as well in CDA so it’s North America as a whole but all the Stores in my City are saying limited quantities until May 31st ? I’ve personally had the best luck with Costco I can always find what I need there and same thing “ limited quantities until May 31st” so what the Stores have been told by the Manufacturer that everything will go back to normal on June 1st ? Idk but ever since the Pandemic hit everything is seemingly having its place on the list as a shortage and the blame just switches out to whatever is convenient. First the Pandemic then the Truckers not being able to cross boarders and now the very sad War between Russian and Ukraine and the the Government will just pass the buck off to whatever sad unfortunate event that’s happening, how about for once whatever the true reason is just say it stop putting the blame on whatever event is happening like gas for instance it’s insane right now the blame is the War ……… ummmm nope our gas prices skyrocketed months before that happened and before the Truckers were unable to haul due to being unvaccinated, it’s price gouging plain and simple because the Government’s in CDA and the U.S need to recoup all the money that was given out during the Pandemic just be honest for once in the Government’s in power life . But whatever this is not the place for politics ! I absolutely love this eyeshadow look but I won’t be picking this palette up because other than a couple of looks I could do it’s just to neutral for me , my absolute favourite eyeshadow colour is green I freaking love the grungy and earthy tones of green all the way to neon bright lime green the Beauty Bay Earthy Palette is so freaking beautiful but their shimmer formula creases instantly on me and nobody has time to babysit their eyeshadow every 45 seconds and that’s how fast it constantly creases on me no matter the base I use tack, set, glitter glue or glitter primer it instantly creases as soon as I blink which is very unfortunate because it looks so shiny/wet and sparkly.
This pallet is so interesting. Those greens!! Love them all.
I really am impressed with the color pop formula in Give it to me Straight. That is the only one I have tried/own for now☺️
I’m an older mom with grown kids so the formula crisis is slightly mysterious to me.
My 3 all breast fed until solid food was more preferable for them.

Not everyone is able to breastfeed for a variety of reasons, baby can’t latch, not enough supply, etc.
My kids received breast milk as an appetizer, but there simply wasn’t enough. They had to supplement with formula and then transition fully when they really started to grow. And I tried. I met with every lactation consultant at the hospital plus others at a separate lactation support site. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out.
Give It To Me Straight was one of the best palettes they ever did! It has so many pretty colors in it. I think a lot of people do prefer to breastfeed but I know there are many who are not able to for different reasons. I have some friends who breastfeed and supplement with formula so even they have been affected by the shortage. Since our baby is adopted it wasn't really an option for us and he is sensitive to certain formulas so it's just difficult to figure out what we can and can't give him. I'm thankful that we have been able to find enough because I know someone people are having a harder time! 💗

Try ordering formula online that's what I had to do when I had my last daughter she is too I had her right in the beginning of the pandemic I actually had to wear a mask during labor but we were having trouble finding diapers wipes so we would order them online they only let you order a certain amount but you can order every day also in my area there was a Facebook group that would either tell you where you could find diapers wipes and formula or there would be moms that would have extra or maybe their kids grew out of that size or don't take formula anymore and they had extra cans and they would be giving those out or selling them if it comes down to desperate times look on Facebook marketplace I know it's scary but if you're buying it from a mom I'm sure it'll be okay I never had to buy formula that way but I did have to get diapers and wipes because there was literally no wipes on the shelves at any stores in my city so I had to buy wipes and at the time my step dad had cancer and was in the hospital my mom would actually bring me home water wipes that my step dad had to use when he was sick but he's resting now in heaven and not in pain anymore but anyways that's besides the point if you need diapers to come find
Wow I can't imagine the stress you were feeling when all of that was happening! I remember not being able to buy a lot of things but it's really stressful when it's your baby that is affected. 💗 I'm so sorry to hear about your step dad. It sounds like the last few years have been super intense and overwhelming for you guys! I am hoping that 2022 is a better year for you all!
I did not know that about formula :/ well my daughter is 7 and I got in the mail a Similac sample set box (no clue why lol) so any mom's out here that are in need lmk it's yours!
