With her shield mechanics, I think Joy will be better off as an exp laner.
Her passive gives her a shield which is useful in 1v1 situations and gives good sustain.
Her ult also has a short cooldown which makes her good at harassing the enemy exp laner
If her role is assassin, Moontoon should have given higher ult damage in return for a longer ult cooldown.
I played her a lot, in advance, and yeah, she's more suited in exp than being core, I used Vengeance on her, for MM
P

Only thing you can beat her easily is, making her miss her 2nd skill, that's her opening, but her 1st skill is very annoying, once you hit an enemy, gains movement speed, plus shield

Khaleed does surprisingly well against her and when he uses his s2 he can absorb her ult. Played my first match against her with him and killed her 4x before she gave up on trying me 😂

@@akhmalakhmal9480 tanky heroes, high burst heroes, high mobility heroes so she misses S2. She can't do much damage to tanky heroes without sacrificing sustain, if she sacrifices sustain she's easily bursted down. If she misses her S2 she can't activate ult. She's pretty balanced compared to heroes like Julian when he was released. I think they should give her less mobility and improve her where she lacks.
Minsi is also a good counter for her....

Her immunity kinda sucks tho. Tried her several times and mastered her rhythm mechanics, it was lot of fun using her but i found that even Valir can ruin her second skill chain by his second skill or simple flameshot. She has lots of weaknesses and so vulnerable against most of the auto attacker mms during mid to late game, there is no time to wait whole 4 second to unlock perfect rhythm ultimate when enemy mm can 3 shot you in the late game. Then that's it her damage sucks without full perfect rhythm. She needs buff or smth for real...

To the people who see this vid nd then end up in my solo rank spamming joy. He has a highly coordinated team thts doin most of risky labour of making sure he is safe and cc-ing enemy. He is also very fed as he was able to secure many kills and his enemy keeps taking fights being underfarmed. U cant produce same output without same conditions. Joy is a far cry from being too op. Her ult dmg is low so u cant kill enemies without proper setup or being fed.

This hero is the worst assasin. This video seems good is because of team mate. Late game 1vs 1 mm sure lose and is not a hero can determine win if your teammate all nuub. Early game also not much damage, take very long to jungle as compared to other assasin.
It helps alot when i first time use joy i struggle this helps me

Try calamity reaper for Joy. Her 1st and 2nd skill has such a low cd and she doesn't use mana, it's perfect for her.
It's actually not. Her skills have low cooldown and using basic attack minimise her damage. It's better to give the slot.for other items. I've tried the build....prefer the non calamity one
I tried that item and i think not worth it for joy
Calamity reaper deals true damage.. IMO I prefer true damage over magic damage. Also, since I find myself tapping the basic attack with her rhythm when using her 2nd skill
