I always found Arlott better in exp lane than jungle since his passive does not automatically mark jungle creeps. On the other hand, his passive marks enemy heroes and his first skill can mark the entire creep wave, allowing you to harass and regen during the laning phase.

The thing about arlott is his first mark isn't instantaneous. There's like 0.5s delay before the enemy got marked so you have to pay attention to that. Also his ult shape doesn't synergize very well with his dash. The enemy could easily dodge it, just like when you get close to lance 2nd skill to dodge it. And if you miss that ult and by reflex you uses 2 skill then you'll get stuck without dash anymore. But yeah arlott would be so strong in a high cc team because his passive doesn't state that it only triggers when arlott himself uses cc
He's pretty much build for sidelane, or a roamer..

Enemies don't dodge his s2. The more your enemies are towards the center of the fan shaped skill the less they will be displaced from their position.
If you want to go Arlott exp, then your opponent is like thamuz, Edith, yz and other bulky heroes in exp, go for defense.
for thamuz build defense after hunter strike since he is quite strong at early (or go def first)
for Edith, go for Athena first since her passive is basically max HP based now, and his magic damage hurts like a slipper thrown at you, best Athena shield for Edith since her spike is level 4.
For yz, build anti heal ofc. his power spike is the same as Edith in level 4.
Spell is PETRIFY since petrify triggers passive which maximize your damage in 2nd skill

Bloodlust Axe (or def item depends)
Brute Force Chest plate
Dominance Ice (or oracle if no lifesteal lineup)
Immortality
Flameshot also works for him since it could also trigger his passive and u can also use flameshot for escaping incase u think that u cant beat him yet

Arlott SHOULD be going exp. Arlott isn’t built for jg. He has a huge delay in farming because his passive doenst work on creeps

I've tried him with bloodlust axe and the rest is defensive item and of course I play in exp lane, and it went really well his damage is still decent despite having only one physical item, you can also dash around in the teamfight more freely cause u don't have to worry too much abt dying😂
Man that argus knew what he was doing like he went and literary melted the base to its 20percent hp and survived with 10percent hp with no ult

You can do Arlott's dash 2 times.. you just mark the enemy, then wait until the timer above your recall button almost ends, then use 2nd skill, so it refreshes quicker. Also, I think he's most effective played in EXP or ROAM, because he can out damage enemies in the early game. His skills are great for a Roaming Setter. Because of his ultimate.. and Even if he's built as a tank, his second skill still hurts.. I also use FLAMESHOT, rather than petrify.. because it has a lower cool down and it synergizes with your second if you're under the tower, you can push them.

Just a quick note on Arlott being a jungler. He's okay but not recommended since he's a bit slow due to his passive marks not automatically applying to jungle creeps unless you cc them which means he can't spam his dashes to clear the jungle fast enough in the early game
It only not applies on the litho, the turtle and the lord. But it does works on the other creeps. Also you can play arlott as a roamer.

@@kjbb1001 yep. Also you can try to use flameshot with him as it applies his mark. Also since the skill place you on the other side of its target. You can actually use it to push an enemy outside its turret before diving again.
I think flameshot is bettwr overall than execute or petrify because it has way lower CD thsn those. And is both a spell you csn use in mele to mark an enemy or long distsnce to finish off a running enemy.

I like playing arlot with a lot of hp since his heal is actually dependent on his max hp. I like how I built only two damage items and he still hurts like hell while also be able to 1v5 with his heal and continuous cc

Arlott is actually very simple to use,i tried him in advance server.
Basically, if the person is glowing, smack them with 2nd. If not, use a cc skill then smack them.
Also, he has an insane heal, not to mention high dmg. Definitely a ban pick

Arlott jungle isn’t _practical.._ (even with jungle emblem), cuz for one his passive only triggers on heroes unless u apply cc to jungle creeps, and since Arlott starts only with either skills at the start of the game, he will be very slow at clearing the first buff, and even if u do manage to level up, its still pretty slow cuz now his 1st skill still also has a cd which u need to wait before using ur 2nd skill to deal proper dmg again. Its only when ur maxed level and u have cdr that arlott’s jungle clear will be _decent_
But comes to the worst part is when taking the turtle and lord.. they both are cc immune meaning.. he can’t apply marks to them so making it even harder and slower for arlott to kill them, giving enough time for the enemies to show up and contest for.
And with retribution equipped on arlott, ur taking away the perfect spell for him, *petrify* which lets him be able to do more combos when all his other cc skills are on cd

I used him twice and was called godly arlott by opponents the..opponents were just playing bad😂
Tips for Arlott:
1st: You can spam the second skill if there many mark because the second skill will focus on the mark target first.
2nd: Your teammates cc can also activate the mark

I suggest taking the first skill first if you’re playing him as an offlaner that way he can annoy,poke his counterparts non-stop and slash them with 2nd skill when it becomes available
And I also suggest using the 3rd skill as the last part of your combo cuz after that the first skill would be available again and you’ll get infinite dashes or enough dashes to even kill a tank
For item,buy the magic necklace and periotize endless battle (he deals a lot of true damage) I recommend
Endless battle(for true dmg),boots,BOD(for extra physical atk),oracle(for extra heal),Malefic roar(for physical pen) and hunter strike
Chou would be a perfect duo for combos in my opinion

Full damage Granger and Johnson, he didn't want to get bursted. Better to ult early than to not ult at all. He also might have gotten cc'ed and wanted to purify it.

While Most of heros skills has delay when its used even if its a very short delay it still has it. And full damage granger? Granger was only lv11 while argus was lv13 there is absolutely no way granger couldve killed argus even if the stun from js did hit. Ya btw js stun didnt even hit.

@@user-jun748 A Granger first skill and Johnson's first and second skills do a substantial amount of damage to a glasscannon Argus. The ult has no delay but that doesn't matter. He could die so quickly he might not be able to ult on time, specially with a bad internet connection and/or frame drops.
@@RaulBetancourtC will tall u the fact. Firstly argus used ult cause of the granger, when u look at it, argus used ult when js didn’t even use his skill. If he was warried about js stun he shouldve ulted when js uses his skill it is not late and its not hard to use it when u see js use his stun.
Secondly he used his ult when he was full hp. And at this exact point, js didn’t even use his skill yet.
Thirdly there is no point to consider bad internet connection cause we don’t know and if u say argus couldn’t have ended cause of bad internet connection, than i can also say enemies would have miss their skills cause of bad connection (btw js did actually missed)
And lastly, even with this mistake argus still could have ended if he use his 1st toward back of the base.
I honestly prefer him as an exp laner because of his power spike could be level 2 since he can have both petrify + first skill to melt his exp counter part if they’re squishy
Best tips for Arlott
Just build full defense items with no doubts. He already has decent amount of base damage. For the laning, I recommend exp lane or roaming. He's really strong throughout the whole game and you will see it when you try. In exp lane, he has more advantages than almost every hero. Since his heal is based on his max hp, defense items obviously benefit more that you could easily survive 2vs1 situations. About roaming, he won't probably be as good as pure tanks but he can still distract the enemy heroes with his cc skills and his ultimate skill has a huge effect so make sure you utilize it well. For some reasons, he's great at ganking in the early game. That's why when you use him as a roamer, you should always check the map and provide support if needed. IMO I don't suggest using him as a jungler because of how his passive skill works. It doesn't work on main objectives, the turtle and the lord so it wouldn't be a wise choice to play him as a jungler.
Cursed Helmet,
Thunder Belt and
Guardian Helmet are the main items for him while the rest depends on the enemy's lineup. Petrify and Flicker are nice options for him(the former can help you get another chance to use skill 2 again and with the latter, you can surprise the enemy using ulti at the same time)

Since early game Arlott use a lot of mana I recommend build Endless battle first to abuse his second skills advantage..
1st tips: Don't use first skill because heroes will be marked when on field..His second skill took effect on heroes first before minions..If you want to clear minion then use first skills or ult to apply mark.
2nd tips: Always try to control your joystick don't try to spam your second skills recklessly as some heroes on your sight might not have mark on them although they are on field which make your dash spam over.
3rd tips:Try to narrow your opponent movement by ult to the wall so you can use first to land your stun..
4th tips:Take your teammate cc effects to spam your second skill. Save your ult if necessary as your might want to use it during teamfight.
All enemy side is psychal attack.
Esme: Let's use magic resist boots and another magic resist item
I used Arlott in a Tank build and the Sustain is too way better than his Damage build, because the 2nd skill was based on HP Percentage (Just 7%, like the Assassin Emblem 3rd talent: Killing Spree, if the enemy was marked by your passive). Also, I need Endless Battle and Thunderbelt for some True Damage against Tanks to make myself hit hard against them.
Thunderbelt is also good since it applies slow after using a skill

I found ml through this video and started playing since champions were basically same but on easy mode so it was a lot of fun crushing mobile gaming audience. Plzz checkout the video and reply after that, I'm sure you'll lose respect for ml.
If you're using arlott as a jungler, it's better to pick his 1st skill first as lvl 1 because of its 7 cd and higher damage than his 2nd skill which has 10 cd and lower damage

Although Arlott may seem very tempting to use as a jungler, I think that his passive doesn't really go well with jungling since it can't mark jungle camps. You can CC them however there are jungle monster that are immune to CC like litho, turt and lord so you really can't mark them for your 2nd skill. I think that exp lane is fine for him but yeah... everyone does their own thing.
EDIT: OH, his ult actually has a low cooldown and the jungle emblem also helps him jungle fast so I guess it's actually fine. Thanks for the gameplay!

An another tip to reuse the 2nd skill is to be aware of the icon if it glows or not

Before turret diving, stun a minion first. Go to the left side of the team fight if you don't want them to escape, while going to the right side when you're letting your team retreat. That's what I learnt from using him. Thus a hero with a lot of cc skills can help him a lot.
Now that you mentioned it, I think Chou is good pair for Arlott.

To be honest, i think the bloodlust axe will not do a lot any time in the game. I've played him since day one using only hunter strike as my core item, other item would depend on the enemy composition. There are a lot of options to use rather than bloodlust axe. Endless is also a good situational item when jungling against high mobility squishy heroes.

Two tips Betowsky and anyone one else wanting to learn Arlott;
1. His second skill also has cc immunity so when you see JOhnson about to crash you or something else you can second skill to get through it
2. Dont use the second skill UNLESS. an enemy is marked or if it is the last kill, the 3 sec cooldown of the first skill will come quicker than the 6 -9 sec cooldown of the second skill, so just resist the urge to use second skill unless the enemy is marked or it is a last hit
yes I usually max the first skill fisrt. it can recharge second skill faster than normal usage

His very weakness is getting cc'ed when dashing. Always remember that arlott don't have an escape skill, his dash are target locked. Once you go in alone, either you wipe the enemy or they'll cc+burst you to death
he has insane survivability tho. build hp will help him sustain a lot

It's simple. For every second skill u tap u need to use ur other skills.another is just before ur passive CD rests and u havnt used ur dash. u tap it then wait for passive and combo

Damage Johnson user here. Using this build is actually helpful especially if your jungler is Barats or Fredrinn. Which both of them slowly melts the enemy to kill them. As Damage Johnson, you can hunt and kill squishy heroes as well as provide excellent CC and damage in teamfights to assist your jungler with damage. Make sure your exp is a sustain hero tho like Thamuz, Chou, Alpha and more or else your lineup will be VERY squishy. Although I don't use fleeting Time on damage Johnson 🤨

Arlott isnt fit for jungling because,
1. His passive doesnt automatically on creeps so he'll have a hard time clearing (if tank chooses to babysit mm).
2.he sustains alot so its better for him to exp

Arlot is the fighter version of joy.
I use that Johnson build a lot and it works for me who wants to drive all over the map and distract them.
pro tips: you can stun minions with 1st skill and dash onto them to close the distance between you and enemy which triggers your passive and allows you to be on top of enemy. he would have killed mm and roamer at 7:50 with this combo.
use flicker instead of petrify if you are playing exp, he got no means of escape. It is either kill or get killed.
don't ban him until you are mythic 1 or above. High skill cap, low rank players ain't gonna perform well. Just pick your usual tanky exp and you'll be fine.
skill 1 have more base dmg than skill 2 so unlock it first at lvl 1.
Petrify is better for combos
But if the enemies got a lot of cc you can use flicker or purify for safer options

1. Can't mark turtle,lord and litho. (Passive can but not CC )
2. You dash into a fight you can't dash out, just have to kill or be killed.
3. Since you can't dash out of a fight. It's really hard to play when opponents have better start.
4. His really squishy, hard to play when there are 3 CC hero in opponent team.
So, i'll say his just like any other hero, he can be a GOD in some match ups and feeder in some.
So it really depends on the player✌️

I think playing him as a jungler is inefficient bc his passive on turtle, lord and lithowanderer can't trigger, and it doesn't work on creeps but it marks them after a skill. I recommend petrify and avoid 2v1 on exp lane in the early game
