When FirstNet (IT company) wanted to create a film about their business for an Investment Award they were entering (and won), they brought in David Brent to help.
FirstNet wanted something a little different to the normal 'corporate' video, something to show the fun side of their personalities.
The full version film we created for them was full of company 'facts and figures' delivered by their MD and FD with help from our Brent.
This edit is a short 'Brent' focused 'cut'.

This dude does brilliant to mimic Ricky Gervais role David Brent. Fantastic performance. Steve Carell took the character and made his own. Absolutely great work from both blokes

Absolutely brilliant!! The mannerisms, the snide comments etc. are spot on. However, he does sound ‘slightly’ out of tune at times , but quickly goes back into Brent mode.

I could genuinely watch this as a series in itself. I think Brent and Gareth look and act close enough that could accept it. And that's saying something as I'm hard to please when it comes to impersonations or change of cast. They have me laughing just as much.

This wasn't a bad David Brent at all. Of course it's not Ricky Gervais playing him but the actor said things and did things and had mannerisms pretty close to those of how Gervais played the character. If Gervais or Merchant ever sees this I think they'd probably like it.
Theres only one David Brent, and this isnt him. But he's a good 2nd, or 3rd, maybe...?

Spot on. This is an unbelievably good impression, better than Jon Culshaw’s take on Brent, or any other I’ve seen.
The people around Brent are also great, perfectly capturing their boredom, indifference, frustration, and passive resentment towards him.

Only makes the impersonation more impressive, since it’s so accurate that he actually manages to fill others with feelings of contempt in the same way as Brent, making everyone come across as really bored and irritated, effectively creating the whole Wernham Hogg atmosphere.
