    Thank you for this amazing video. I watched a few videos of what to do and eat in Bruges and Amsterdam, but yours is the best. I am not a big fan of street food, so showing where you eat ( healthy foods) and the best historical places to visit greatly help our Amsterdam and Bruges trip.

      In March, you might get lucky with some days nice weather but still rather cold (50 - 55 Fahrenheit) and rainy, April already a bit warmer (55 - 65), generally less rain, but can still have nights with freezing temperatures, May might bring already some days with temperatures around 65 - 75 Fahrenheit. From June on definitely nicer weather (days with 75 - 85) until September.

    That is such a detailed video, thanks for sharing, would like to know few details:
    Which month did u travel ? hw ws the weather?
    How and where did you buy train tickets to travel Belgium to Netherlands and within country?
    Would you recommend staying in Brussels or Brugge?

    • @vinesrealtygroup
      @vinesrealtygroup  Před 3 měsíci

      We traveled in March! The weather was better than expected, but my guess is April or May might have better weather. I honestly can’t remember where all we bought train tickets. I know we bought them at the station at least once, but it’s possible we bought some online as well. I can’t comment on Brussels because I haven’t been, but we loved staying in Bruges - that would be my recommendation! ☺

      @vinesrealtygroup  Před 7 měsíci

      Hey Kimberly, thanks for checking out our videos! Unfortunately, we don’t really have any written itineraries for our trips or else we'd share them with you. The videos are the most complete and detailed “itinerary” we have. We typically go on trips with a few big things planned that we want to see and then leave a lot of room for spontaneity. Sorry about that! If you have any specific questions about any of the trips we'd be happy to try to answer them!

    I’m planning a trip to Amsterdam and Belgium as well. I’m curious did you land in Amsterdam then took a train straight to Bruges? How many days did you stay in Belgium? I’m trying to plan my itinerary and logistics because I’m travelling solo.

    Not every church is a cathedral.
    E.G.:
    3:43 4:46 Saint-Nicolas in Ghent isn't a *cathedral* but just a church, a big opulent church that shows just how wealthy Ghent was. FYI, at one point in time Ghent was bigger and richer than Paris France.
    A Cathedral is the seat of a Bishop and in fact shows how rich and important a city was at some point. Not all cities have cathedrals, only big important rich cities do (or cities that used to be rich or important)
    By the by, you visited Bruges, even visited the cathedral and utterly missed seeing a real Michelangelo (Madonna with Child) statue.
    Just like you missed seeing in Ghent the 15th-century internationally acclaimed world treasure masterpiece 'Adoration of the Mystic Lamb', a painting the size of a barn door that took 12 years to paint and marked the start of the Renaissance with a very rich history of being stolen and returned multiple times and was even THE object of interest in the Hollywood A-list actors starring movie 'The monument men'
    By the way I found it amusing that you thought the old church in Delft was the most to your liking seeing that the tower of it was build in the Flemish style. :)

    You didnt stay in Amsterdam ? No offence but Amsterdam is on a whole other level of beauty. Its a marvel of urban design in fact. A standard that all cities should follow. The car is banned the the suburbs. The centre is car free.

    Cameron should really stop working while on holiday, that is the intention of taking a break. It would say it's a typical American thing but unfortunately we have workaholics in Europe (and all over the world) too.
