I been woodshedding like a freak inside picking , the Pepsi lick from Vinnie Moore.. I can’t believe how hard it is to get it clean and precise .. I been practicing it off and on for 3 years .. is normal to be that hard for certain players to learn ? Mind u it’s finally starting to come together for .. the synchronization is one hell of a learning curve.

I have a question - how to make a tremolo on the 6th string without a palm mute? How should the right hand be placed on the guitar? I always get it so that it has no point of support.

What model of guitar are you playing?

@@HarbingerOfAnarchy I'll make a reel on this soon...
Palm mutes should come from the pinky side "meat" of the hand and NOT the thumb side.
The tendency to used thumb side of the hand for palm muting typically comes from poor alignment of the guitar.
Try putting the knob/bone that is at the base of your hand on the pinky side on the top post of the guitar bridge.
Muting/not muting will then come from ROTATION to raise and lower that right hand side "meat" of the hand.
      Make sense? 🙂
Read this then watch how I'm doing it in the video.
