- Mountain Sledder has the opportunity to tag along for a ride on the brand-new 2020 Polaris RMK KHAOS! This model is the 155 x 2.6" track with belt drive.
In this video, we mic'd up athlete Chris Brown, from Ride Whistler, to gather his impression of how the Polaris KHAOS handles in comparison to the Polaris PRO-RMK.
The snow isn't great, but Chris manages to find some decent pockets as he tests out the riding characteristics of the sled.

Hero snow ❄️
Man i want to go to Alpine WY this winter and Rent one of these RMK PRO 155......
sidehill skills
Is this a 850 or 800? Which one would recommend?
What I'm really wondering about is how it climbs?
He will probably address that in the next video. It would be nice to hear if it feels predictable too...
Were are you riding it looks amazing.
Thanks for watching! This was filmed at Quartz Creek, near Golden, British Columbia. The trailhead is just a 25 minute drive from our office door! We're pretty lucky that way.
So after riding the expert and the khaos which did you like better? Which ever sled you like better was there something that stands out that made you decide that?
Both sleds perform incredibly well! But they are quite different at the same time. A characteristic that one rider might love, another might dislike. Our best advice is to be careful not to let the preferences and opinions of other riders dictate your own. The real truth is that both these sleds are amazing and far outperform the capability of most riders. Your best bet in the long run is to log some seat time on both and decide for yourself which you prefer. Or at the least, consider the riding characteristics as we've tried to describe in these videos and carefully assess whether they fit the kind of riding you like to do yourself. Thanks for watching!
Sleddermag good answer
is it a 3" or 2.6"
Good question! 155 x 2.6" track with belt drive. Thanks for watching!
Would nice to know the size of the lugs
2.6 quick drive. He answered someone else who asked this question.
well.. i love polaris and all that but.. the value of this ride is not good.. Chris Brown is sponsored by Polaris.. so how impartial is this? :)
Khaos for the win... but this video... no shtt it climbs hard snow, good luck trenching in those conditions
yeah, unfortunately this was our only opportunity to test ride the Khaos while it was still in pre-production. Check out this one of the 155" vs 163" in much better conditions: czcams.com/video/PQGO-l0ma3o/video.html
I’m gunna order mine tomorrow lol that’s why u get paid a million dollars from Polaris lol 😆
