    4:38 > SS Orama being sunk by KS Admiral Hipper on 8 June 1940. 67-44 N, 03-52 E
    Orama had previously transported British troops to Narvik, it was on her return that she ran into the German squadron which also included Scharnhorst and Gneisenau (aka Salmon and Gluckstein)
    19 men were lost, 280 captured inc Captain Sherburne. Orama's crew were held at Schloss Wulzburg in 1940.

    Acertadísima decisión la de doblar al Castellano este tipo de vídeos originales de la Segunda Guerra existen muchos pero están en alemán y otros idiomas en castellano muy pocos gran acierto Muy buen video🇦🇷

    Translated to non-perfect English:
    00:20 the oil tanks inside the port of Brest, set afire by the British before the German troops arrive.
    01:11 the führer visits the old reich countries, Alsace-Lorraine, entering through Kehl. The bridge was blown up by the French.
    01:22 flight over the belt of french fortresses
    01:52 monument to the creator of the invincible Maginot Line, today shattered for the most part.
    02:15 the führer in Strasbourg
    02:52 searching for the enemy, the units of the Kriegsmarine, including the Scharnhorst and the Gneisenau, penetrate the North Sea. Drifting enemy mines are deactivated by shooting at them. With the help of reconnaissance aircraft, it was posible to locate the great british carrier, Glorious.
    04:10 after a brief combat, the carrier and her destroyer escort were sunk.
    04:35 a second Kriegsmarine unit, sank the great troopship Orama. The crews of enemy ships were saved.

      @@jackofswords7 Correct,he paid their tax as is traditional in Germany,had notions of being a priest in his youth like Stalin oddly enough.

      @@mamavswild In Germany you pay the State a Tax if you choose to declare your Relegion,weather.Catholic,Prodt,Jewish etc.Hitler paid his Catholic Tax as head of State

      Petr K - that is what you took out of this? Really, what about the horrible loss of life, and the destruction of so many historical sites. Carbon emissions was on no one’s mind at all. 🥴

      @@yuppy1967 yes, some fools don't get it. Besides the loss of life, misery etc was a huge economic and environmental cost. Instead of making those weapons they could have made ploughs.
