indonesian opal called "kalimaya" , found in different varieties of colors...white, broken white, coffe blacks, etc....considers as best kind of opals. FYI
Opals are a particular business. And many jewelers dont particularly specialise in their patterns and quality - having generic atuff. Alot of vendors sell plain white crystal, jelly. And your stuff ia darker and has more colour combos (yes).
The reason why they had trouble comparing is because what you had was an Australian opal. Australian opal is superior to all other opals of the world The one you bought was a multi color cabachon with around a N6 body tone and brightness of 3. Omgoodness. I was trying to see if anyone else noticed this? Obviously its impossible to tell for sure, but it looks like it was fine when he first got it, but he caused the cracking by being so rough and careless when cutting it out of the ring, dropping it. He had to have seen the cracking beforehand and i dont think he would have bought it, if it was. What a shame. Such a beautiful stone.
@@cattfishing where are you seeing a crack in that opal he has at any point in this video exactly??
Ok, this business is so f-n cut throat you can feel the knife being press on your throat.
Gary is a real one. He knew what he had.
I been watching more of your videos. I think its awesome that you go out and just bless people with precious metals and cash. I showed my ol lady this video she absolutely loves crystals and stuff like that. Fucking loved those opal. A bit outta my price range.. but still very cool to watch and learn about
Yo Max gonna hook you up family. Got to go to Chinatown & find Mama she got the opals & jade for the low.
The accents, outfits and vibes make me feel like I'm in a mafia movie
Love how you went with your gut. People were low balling you and you knew it. Great job king
in Australia 🇦🇺 u can get some very nice looking Opals with lines inside them the blues and reds aswell spotted stones ,everyone seems to lie in jewellery buisness because they don't want you having the knowledge to get wealthy and there bloody jealous
Thanks for the opal knowledge Trax
Nice choice. Nice deal.
Opal was my Mother's favorite stone.
Beautiful high class stone.
I see as very under rated.
Opals so underrated. Rarer and more beautiful than diamonds imo.
Fair play for your honesty bro, love it
I grew up in Coober and I've learnt the value of Opal varies, depending on whether you're selling or buying, and who's participating in the transaction....
I respect your honesty…
Come on Gary. What the hell GARY ? 😂😹🤣 👏👏
Glad you did your research xxx
Omg OPALS ARE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!! Would’ve loved one for my engagement ring but was told they’re too soft 😢
These opals are so beautiful the way they capture all the colours of the rainbow 😍
What you paid is actually not bad for a 5 ct Lightning ridge opal. The retail price for an opal like this can be around $5000 ( all depends on where you get it from) but also, I have seen people who sold opals like this for soo cheap. Usually the ones who don't know the value or just want to sell for fast money
P.s I work with opals and live in Australia 😉
Beautiful and so glad you shared ❤
Take it easy there uncut gems ! Lol I knew I recognized you !
I bought a 10000 dollar engagement ring at Zales. The engagement was called off, so I took the ring to 3 different pawn shops in Chicago. The highest offer I got was $350. Luckily, I had the receipt, so I just took it back.
indonesian opal called "kalimaya" , found in different varieties of colors...white, broken white, coffe blacks, etc....considers as best kind of opals. FYI
Love opals soo much! Someday I'm going to get my wife a ring and necklace and earing set from you! Just have to get some $ first...
I m a manufacturer of opals I can make accordingly to your budget
Real Business.
Real Businessman.
The liars in the gemstone industry are unmatched. Glad you kept pushing and exposed the industry a little for new comers.
Opals are a particular business. And many jewelers dont particularly specialise in their patterns and quality - having generic atuff.
Alot of vendors sell plain white crystal, jelly. And your stuff ia darker and has more colour combos (yes).
Gary knew you'd be back !
I’ve always wanted an Opal a real one anyway. It’s my favorite stone. Just never can afford to buy one. These are beautiful
What's up
Thanks for not ever being a burden to my life and any one of y'all I care about
Wish i can speak to this man Trax. That could be an amazing experience!
Lol the way u say Gary 🤣
Opals are so rare as per finding one that's very colorful and not bland thanks y'all
That opal is frickn gorgeous
That opal you have is beautiful; a hard industry to find it's equal. Either in monetary or physical objectivness
Gary’s a real one
"that means that Gary ripped me off"... " THANKS Gary 😑" 💀🤣
The reason why they had trouble comparing is because what you had was an Australian opal.
Australian opal is superior to all other opals of the world
The one you bought was a multi color cabachon with around a N6 body tone and brightness of 3. Nice stone indeed but the fracture on the side really hurts the value significantly
Let's ask Gary, hahaha...😊👍 'nope'chuckle*
“Thanks Garry” 😂
Beautiful gem stone. Blows my mind how the earth can create such stunning stones over millions of years
I was always told if opal is not ur birthstone to NOT wear it, it will bring bad luck to you, unless someone passes away and it WAS their birthstone and it get passed down to you then stay away.
That's why gold is king. Don't buy anything which is not regulated. These guys out here quoting some arbitrary numbers out their asses.
I love opal. I have a fire opal necklace with small opals. So it’s only a $250 necklace but when I ordered it they fucked up and sent me two. One looks a lot better than the other one so I emailed them and offered to send it back. They had a pretty generic email back that wasn’t the slightest bit grateful so I kept both. Still west both to this day
