No wonder they look so good!
P.S. I know we're all different and do stuff differently but I recommend soaking the alfalfa cubes because they can easily be choked on since they're so dry and flakey.

Gaberdine Eloise I agree, always feed alfalfa soaked

I agree... I don't need a vet bill for something that stupid

johnna Ott I wouldn't say it's stupid because not everyone knows but it is simple fix to bring down chances of needing to call a vet out

yeah...what I meant was your horse could do something that you can't control that would cause a vet bill and it would be stupid to not prevent the things that you can... a better word would have been silly but I was in a bit of a sassy mood😂 my bad

I have always soaked my alfalfa cubes. I don’t feed them to my horses very often but when we had hay shortage here. I weighed and fed alfalfa cubes, morning and night. Horses can get choke from dry cubes.

Great video as always! I'm curious to know if you made your own riding arena and if so how you went about it.

With the alpha cubes you must soak them with water (works best with hot water) without soaking them it increases the chance of colic:)

Great video. I love to see what others do. I do also spend every day with my two horses. Even if its just grooming them and walking them around on halters. We do a little ground work and clean up the paddock, or clean the paddock and do round pen fun, or clean the paddock and do some liberty work, or clean the paddock and I'll sit on my mounting block and wait until they come sit with me. But there's nothing like riding them.

So to get my horses looking as amazing as Ethan and Frisby I will either need less horses or more money 🤔 Well that's a no-brainer. I'll be hitting the old ball and chain up for more money 😅 Great video!

I recommend soaking all of their feed (soak the alpha cubes seperate) because if you don’t soak it it will expand in their stomach which can also increase the chance of colic (works best when you soak with hot water) you can google it to get all the details:)

Do you worry about swelling in the stomach from the alpha cubes? I have heard of horses collicing from feeding these dry. Cheers Meg :)

Hello. I don't own a horse yet but I want to educate myself a lot before I buy one.
What is your advice on this: we often travel to visit relatives that live few hours away from us, sometimes we stay for the night ...
if don't have anyone to feed the horses What do I do in this situation?

This can be a challenge, when we have gone on vacation we have 'hired' our kids to care for our animals ( they are in their 20's now) one time I had a co-worker who lived out by me come and care for the animals, and one other time when we went far away I hired a lady to come and feed all of the animals. It is definitely one of the biggest challenges to having animals at home. So we don't travel far from home very much! 🙂🙂🙂
