Little Guy Mini Max, Petersburg Campground ... and a hurricane?

- My mom, sister, and I took our three campers to Petersburg Campground, a Corps of Engineer campground, just north of Augusta, Georgia, in Appling. Petersburg has 93 campsites and is on J. Strom Thurmond Lake. Each site is in a picturesque woodsy setting with many of them on the lake. Check out more information on the campground at bit.ly/3Csj0AP.
Also in this episode, I give the "grand tour" of my 2019 Liberty Outdoors Little Guy Mini Max camper! It's perfect for me!
And while we originally planned on four nights at Petersburg Campground, the trip was cut a little short when we decided to go home early to get ahead of Hurricane Ian, which was on the way and about to hit the coast of Florida.

Thanks so much! I just love the camper too! I’ve put it up until the fall now because it’s just too hot camping in the summer and I have other trips planned too, but already missing it. I may have to sneak it out for just a couple more getaways. Haha!
That's a nice camper setup! Feels right at home over the road in there. I will have to check this campground out. I live about 3 hours away from it. The sites look huge! The sites are really small in the smoky mountains.
Your video interested me because on the mini max... which I love, but you totally won me over when you pulled out that chandelier! Beautiful photography and super nice camp site. Camping in the wind is definitely no fun. Thanks for the tour!

I would definitely remove the microwave too when boondocking it is a waste of space but I would put on door. I would put mirror in closet to but hang some clothes up I stead. I would fix bed up the same. I like alot of her modifications. Would do similar.

Awesome video. I came here to see your tour of the Little Guy Mini Max. My wife and I are currently shopping and considering purchasing an RV, and I’m considering the LGMM because it would be easy to tow. I definitely don’t want anything too bulky going down the highway. We’re from just up the road in Statesboro and were in your hometown this weekend.
Wow, very cool!! Hey neighbor! I obviously love mine, but if my boyfriend were camping with me regularly then I’d probably have gone for the Max, not the Mini. It has a little more headroom in it. @@AllisonCobb0126 I’ll keep that in mind. I’m studying the market before I buy and they say prices should start coming down soon as demand has decreased. We’re in Glennville 3 or 4 times a year due to business we do there . If I see we’re going to come that way, we may contact you in advance for a tour.

You have convinced me to do this! I’ve been afraid to make the commitment. Do you ever feel vulnerable camping solo? That’s the only thing that has kept me from committing.
Good for you! I don’t often camp solo, but when I do it’s typically in a regular campground so I don’t have any worries at all. However I’m also a member of “Sisters on the Fly” and that’s one of the best decisions I ever made. I’ve had SO many wonderful camping adventures since joining up. Truly you should look into it!

Thanks!! It’s a Clam Sport Escape. I love it because the top triangle screens on each section unzip, so you can get good airflow through it if you’re not worried about bugs.
How did you have the chandelier from the top of the tent? I would have made the tent screen collapse in on me. Such a comfy looking mini max and so cozy.
Thank you!! The clam tent has a loop in the top center that you can hang things on. I do have to use my little step ladder to reach it though. The chandelier hangs there just fine and it’s not very heavy at all. If it were storming though, with high winds, then I’d take it down because the tent roof could collapse in high gusts.

Great vid!!Did you ever compare the little guy max with your Mini? It appears there is little storage sacrifice and much more tow friendly w your Mini??
The Max does have more storage but I’m typically just camping 3-4 days at a time. This Mini is my first camper, so I wanted it to be small, and a requirement was the bathroom. It’s SO easy for me to pull around. I fit perfectly in two regular parking spaces, so that’s easy. Plus I love that the Mini has the keder rail on the edge of it. I have a large awning that slides in the keder rail and extends the living space. I also have the smaller visor I can use. The “awning” on the Max is terrible and small. But the extra space inside the Max is nice. I’d really only want that if I was sharing the camper with another person. I prefer to be outside anyway when camping. The Mini is perfect for me!

What size truck do you pull your camper with? Nice job on the video.
I pull it with my boyfriend’s Ford Raptor most of the time and occasionally with my Ford Escape (has tow package rated for 3500).
How have you found the quality? I've been thinking about buying this camper but there are some scary reviews about lots of issues and leaks in these units.

Found it on Amazon and I purchased battery operated candles separately on Amazon. I’ve had this chandelier 3 years and looks like it’s out of stock but I bet there’s another similar.
