Testing my 2020 KTM Freeride E-XC for Power & Range in the Snow at 30°F.

I wanted to see how sub-freezing temperatures would affect this electric motorcycle. I let it sit outside for 6 hours at 30°F with a full charge, and then began to ride on Mode 3. How far did I go? How was the power? Watch to find out!

Great video! You normal range in Map 3 is 60~70 minutes? Not surprised to see less range in the cold but perhaps not as big of a drop due to the power down mode. Looking forward to racing on the ice once the pond freezes!

Thanks MX! Yes, normal range in the yard (in Mode 3) is anywhere from 60 - 90 minutes. Hopefully the pond will freeze over this year so we can ride on it!
