I remember first seeing the baja 5b in 2008. Here we are in 2023 and this thing is still pure joy :)

Loved mine. Going to have to get another one now that they re-released them. Just wish they had that same pipe. I liked how light it was and protected vs the larger tuned pipes.
It's so awesome looking. It's so similar to a full size sand rail. Super cool form factor. Every time I see one I drool. Great run! 👍🏆

I have one as well bought back in 2014, and starts eveytime….amazing quality and im sure it will go down for many many years for sure.

The undisputed king of RC's mine still has the og 23cc bottom end from the block, the head was modified to a 26cc, it revs and pulls!
I have one that is mint as well. Back in 2011 I was President of the more money than brains club. Anyway I started buy every hop up part from all the manufacturers like Turtle Racing and Fast Eddy. I stopped counting when I passed 4K at Dave’s Motor sports. My buggy has everything from a slipper clutch to carbon fiber brakes. The only part that is stock is the motor. I did add a tuned pipe to it however. I bought so much stuff for that buggy. I got several sets of tires and engine parts but sadly I have never used any of it.
I can relate, too much money and no time to enjoy it. Mine is a Rovan from 2014, I used it maybe 4 times, I took it apart last week, inspected and cleaned it and put it back in shape to run it now that I have dome time.

I have the Baja 5b with the Kraken body, very well used, 5 years ago it just stopped running, going through all the normal routines to get it up and running, seems the issue is in the ignition system, got it to run today for like 30 seconds, getting close, hopefully I’ll have some fun tomorrow. Have a Losi 5t Gen 1, and a Kraken Vekta, the Baja is by far my fav.
Moves well for being a big ol’ beast.
Mines in the attic, need to dig it out and have a bash again, ohhh and its got a obr 28cc race motor 😊

the 23cc has been great on these if you go to 30cc the car stability is gonne digg harder spins faster and jumps not so good can go faster whit a 23cc most time love tis car 2
