There was no diagnosis of dementia. The conservatorship was established based on a claim they would providing a diagnosis of dementia but they never followed through with it. Regardless when it became evident this false claim would not be followed through with the conservatorship was not removed. Unfortunately it seems to be the case in California even a baseless promise is enough to steal somebody's human rights.

I completely agree with you. I've been thinking the same thing about whether her lawyer is going to work hard for her or is he also paid off. it seems he hasn't done enough fast enough. I'm gonna tell you a bit about me. I live in a 3rd world country. One of uncle was rescued by a military or something. He somehow, ended up all the way to Texas.
He left during civil war, a huge civil war that lead to death of 60% of citizens in my country. So he left during the toughest of time.
Sometime later, he married a neighbor in Texas who rooted near my country. Her country & mine being neighbors, we do trade business. And we ended up found each other again through asking relatives & neighbors to pass on letters & phone numbers. But Even-since he's left, he never came back here. We've only ever talked on the phone. He's been in Texas for 35yrs. He's gone when my dad was just 6-7yrs old. We found each other during the 1995-00s, somewhere around that time.
When I was 17yrs old, I want to see the world, so I visited my uncle. When I got to his house... He introduced me to "Refrigerator, Microwave, Dishwasher... etc".
I came to realized, he was under the impressions that my country don't have any of these. So I didn't say anything because his stuff are second-handed and my one of my fridge worth more than everything in his house combined. So I just nodded and didn't say anything.
Sometime later, he finally decided to visit us. He wanted to show his 4 sons his hometown, his birthplace. Also, his visiting was because my grandpa's funeral.
When he came, he shocked to see how much things have changed. And that my dad way richer than he can ever dream.
It appeared that in Texas, all money he's made were go to Tax, Insurance & such... He's only have enough to just get by. When it's come to house, he only got one. A plot of land for farming some vegetables. All cars were second-handed and had to be pay installment because he can't afford to buy new ones.
He was actually shamed of himself because during these times that he never visited, we're only talk on the phone and he keeps on bragging about America. He was proud to be an American and thought that being American, it was the best thing in the world and there isn't a better life out there. The Land of Freedom and how great America was only be dumb found on just how much things changed.
In the end, it was my dad that bought 4 houses for his boys and pay for their college educations. It was a gift to his long lost brother and a gift to his 4 nephews. After he visited here. We became more & more distant because he used to call and brags about America and how his life was perfect but he can no longer brag about his life since we're better off than him, so basically, there is nothing more to talk about anymore. So we became distant, only to call once or twice a year.
The Bottom line is, before you say anything, you need to first confirm everything. Before you say which country is the best, be sure to at least visit 10-20 countries across the globe and learn how they functions.
