Oh man I just tried your settings, minus the brake settings (need to clean and re wax them) and went 4/10 a second faster with the grand Valley South time trial to be 1.16.799. Easily inside gold. Only did 3 laps to get this time with your setup. That's crazy for me. Love the wheel feeling now. Big thanks. 🙏

Only thing I have to object on is the SEN setting for new drivers. I come from controller and I’m used to very small inputs in steering. The auto setting let every car I can control easily on controller spin out in the first corner I took.
Sure it is meant to be realistic but I found it to be easier to work my way up to Auto from 360, which is very direct and very close to a controller input. The wheel feels very connected to the car and I can feel everything that’s going on. Currently moving toward the 540 setting as I’m getting used to the wheel/pedal combo after 25 years on controller.

Thanks so much for this video 👍 especially as I recently treated myself to a set of V3 pedals. But I know that I’m not getting the best out of them and have never used a loadcell pedal before. 08:20 the SPR setting is ONLY used by Forza games during driving. No other game Supports the SPR channel for regular driving effects and therefore it doesn't matter if you set it to OFF, 10, 20 or 100 - the steering does not change at all. Would be purely placebo if you feel any kind of difference.

Quick question, I noticed you updated all FW on your GT DD Pro wheel/motor/base to the latest on 447 fanatec driver set. Did you also update your new V3 pedals FW to 1.35? If so, any issues? Some reported some slight input lag on V3 with latest FW. Thanks!

I updated the firmware to 1.35 for the pedals and I did had some lag, so I manually got it back to 1.32 and it seems like the problem is solved now.

Hey, don't usually comment, but this tune for the Fanatec has been the absolute best for me and my driving. First time getting a Sim rig and wheel and was slow at getting consistent, but not anymore!! Thanks for sharing this setup. Vr2 is pre ordered and will be my first time on that, too. Great video Digit, much appreciated for the time you've put into this. I do have a GT7-specific question for you, as it's been one with the most mixed opinions as of late.
Does in-game 'Controller Sensitivity' (not FFB Sensitivity) do anything to the wheel at all in game, or is it purely for controller? After changing them and doing back to back tests myself, it sure seems like it does nothing, but there are many out there who swear that it makes a difference.
Thoughts on this? Has there ever been any *official* word on this, that you know?

Okay, it's just for the controller.
It controls the movement speed of wheel in-game. Think of it as an anti lag system for controller user. You can go from fast reactions to delayed.

Depends on how you like your wheel, this is the for GT DD so I can't guarantee it'll be the same

I don’t have the shock setting on my dd pro and I’ve done all firmware updates to. But I also have the 5nm not the 8. But I just ordered the boost kit.

Thanks for this great video! Can you access these settings through the PS5's TV or VR screen or only through the small screen on the wheel and through PC? I use VR, so it'd be easier to not have to look at an external screen.

by watching again and again this precious video I maybe noticed a typo... did you invert INT value with NIN by putting 11 on NIN in your video at the end when you show up the app control panel ? just wanted to be sure it is INT 11 correct value . thank you

My DD PRO has continuously a sensation as "gravel" when i drive, as the car is "on the eggs", above all Supra gr4, Alfa 155 and other gr3 and gr4 cars. I tried a lot of settings but the problem remains. I have other users with similar problems, also on Fanatec forum a guy has the identical problem. Other guys don't find the feeling, they are alwais large on the apex, the car steers late, bad bad bad...

Hello Digit, nice video. Im new in Fanatec, own a CS DD 12nm.. its fine but have a problem.. Need to know the setting for sharp the foot of the tyre for fine tune the moment between grip and understeer. Cant found the way.

Automatic for the wheel, but different for the pedals, I noticed input delay when using new driver on V3 pedals. The fix was to downgrade to 1.30 or 1.32

Shock setting only works with a wheel that has vibration motors in. The dd pro standard wheel does not

On top of this, in any recent Firmware SHO is not even a thing anymore when a Wheel without vibration motors is attached so SHO would be completely hidden from the Tuning Menu...

QQ. what differnces and advantages in your view to put ingame sensitivity to 10 as opposite to 1 ? i noticed you selected 10. Some others prefer 1 claiming to get a better "dynamic range" ? I tried on both and did not get back a big feeling difference to be honest..
Honestly, I would know. Just felt better at 10, maybe placebo effect but 10 for me

I hate the fact that I need to connect the pedals by themselves to the PC to update them.
Pedals are mounted on a rig and I barely made it work, so now I need to disassemble everything to update pedals lol...
I have a long usb cable plugged into the pedals then tucked away under them so I can just unplug the pedals from the base, very carefully find and plug in the usb lead to update, I'm terrified of accidentally pulling out the usb lead but been okay for a while

NIN is off, INT at 11, same as the video

07:15 you cant change the SHO value to 50% anymore since quite some time as it was revised to be only either OFF or ON, no % values anymore in any recent firmware. Therefore the default value of SHO is now also ON and not 100 anymore. So you must be on a old Firmware. Also SHO only works for wheels which have vibration motors and, again in recent Firmwares, is even completely removed for wheels which dont have vibration motors. As you use the GT wheel, which does not have vibration motors, SHO wouldnt even be available if you wokld use a recent firmware. But anyway it also wouldnt matter if you set it to ON or OFF (or 50% or 100%) as it wouldnt do anything anyway... I would highly suggest to update to the recent firmware and maybe re-shoot this video as this video is not entirely applicable to the recent firmwares.

@@momorious It's interesting since I scraped the web to get all this info, do you maybe have an official version of the settings explained. Or at least a place where I can get the most recent info. Since it would be great to do a revised version of the video focused on the Menu settings. To be clear, some of the settings were my personal feeling and what I use to get the right feel, not exact science Also, BMW M4 GT3 🤩

13:24 that's not true. NDP and DPR work COMPLETELY unrelated to each other, they do NOT work together. Even when you set DPR to OFF (as it's a channel which is only used by a very few games anyway for driving so it wouldnt make any difference if using OFF, 10, 20, 50 or 100) the NDP would still work without any influence. That's because they are completely independend of each other!
Maybe the explanation wasn't the best, what I ment to say that you have to adjust each one for the best possible feel. So if you change NDP but no DPR, it will change you overall feelling. Better explanation, change both to get the best settings.
@@DigitRacingDG but even that would not be true. DPR is not supported by 90% of the games during regular driving so changing DPR wont change the feel for those 90% of the games at all.

If you have a podium wheel don't even try this. Even with ffb at 1 in game, it is unusable even with ffb set to 40 on wheel

Hello, could you please tell me if i change those settings on my pc they are still in effect when i use my dd pro with a ps5? When i get the wheel into settings mode i only have 3 options to change when using with ps5.
You can adjust on PC and they're stored on the base, also keep in mind that this video is a couple of months old and we have a couple of updates since then
