It's been on my radar for a long time, but I always put it into the "I should try it one day" box. Finally tried it out during the Honkai X Genshin crossover event, and have been playing it ever since.
Mmm 8 minute ads. I love modern youtube.
I enjoyed this game i stopped playing because i couldn't get enough fragments to fully rank my characters and unlocking them was a grind. But the biggest issue is we don't punch the main baddie he just goes away. I don't even know if we ever fight him in later updates.

I saw this and decided to check how long I've been playing HI3 and I have 1840 days logged in. I've loved it ever since I randomly found it years ago

@@heyjeySigma Well days as in logged into the app and did something. Could take 5 minutes if I didn't have much to do. Basically I consistently logged in and played something for 1840 days

Yeah, I was skeptic at first because like others I'm not really into gacha games. The story is definitely worth it plus there are so many contents, as long as you don't go competitive it is The Best FREE ARPG. And also you got some quality waifus.

Interesting this game is still relevant after Star Rail's release
I play a F2P games a lot but the combat of this game never clicked with me, it felt too basic, I prefer PGR combat system over this any day

While the game does a lot of good, the forced competition in-game in order to get the currency to pull for characters is super toxic as you're pretty much forced to pull for certain characters to get a chance at competing in said gamemodes. It's a shame cause the combat was very promising
I played HYV's 3 games and nothing forces you to get spesific character. It just the FOMO and simping issue
@@wheel8954 I quit the game back when Nyx released and the game was just like I described it, for the abyss and boss modes (equivalent of the spiral abyss or MoC in Genshin and Star Rail respectively) you specifically needed teams of the right elements to have a shot at ranking properly and getting in turn rewards fitting to pull for the characters you want, now as you may imagine, a team built of 3 units, while there are what, 4-5 elements, for new players it's impossible to get a fitting team to go with it, specially when most new units powercreep the fuck out of the previous ones, the best example that comes to mind is that Fire Kiana alt that she got. Now, if they changed over the past years since then, I'd hope so and wish to be proven wrong, but from what I've seen it does not look that way
@@Barraca02 of course new players would not be able to clear the end game content. We can't expect it to be a thing. But little thing that i agree with you is the hectic of pulling spesific character that matches your playstyle & elemental affinity is kinda annoying 😹 therefore I'm dropping most of my gacha games.
@@wheel8954 ofc I don't expect a newcomer to instantly reach end game, but it's the amount of time it'll take them to build the "proper" teams with the right elements and most powerful units (which there's a huge gap between characters) that annoys me, it's almost forced into you to pull for them if you wish to compete

I've been playing this game for a very long time now (about 4 years give or take) so take this as you will. This game is truly a gem in the market. Like you said, if you're looking for a mobile (or PC) action RPG, you really cant go wrong with this game. Good combat, great soundtrack, incredible OST and probably one of the greatest stories I've experienced. There is plenty for new players to do as you'll be playing through 6 years worth of content so you wont have to worry about droughts for a while. I wont make the comment too much longer but if anyone's got any questions, then I'll be more than happy to try and answer them

@@alumlovescake About the only mobile game that's worth playing is Opera Omnia - at least grinding up on there isn't too much of a chore and it plays out like a REAL Final Fantasy in combat.
Out of all hoyoverse mmo hi3rd is the one i dropped im still playing genshin and enjoying hsr right now its really good for a turn based mmo
Hoyoverse really flipped my opinion on mobile games with Star Rail, and now I’ve picked up this game and Genshin too. The shared universe thing is a big hook for me. I still don’t understand the systems and UI in HI3, but just playing through the story chapters has been a good time

Nah fam. I wouldn't call this game an RPG. It's a full blown gacha. No money, no cool characters unless you're planning on spending every waking hour on it, or saving for months just to get a single shiny new character.
Mihoyo is a dogshit company that doesn't deserve the time of day. They sure as hell have an amazing art team. That's undisputable, but they're also complete dogshit as a F2P company, at least compared to other Gachas that are *WAY* more generous than they'll ever be.

Bro it's YEARS old if you don't know about this game with Genshin being as big as it is you live under a rock but HI3rd is also going to end so that's probably why they're getting more people to bring it to light don't get me wrong I've been praying for years and love it but it's so much harder to pull units and don't get me started on not just needing a weapon but stigmas too? Its a whales game it's free but make sure you talk about how hard it is being F2P vs the whales in this industry

Wow, bro, so many people saying all sorts of crap about the game, especially about the gacha and competition systems.
You DON'T even need either to fully enjoy the game, ya know, given that the story itself gives you plenty of playable characters to choose from.
I bet all of you in the comments didn't even play the game, or any other freemium game you bitch about the gacha systems, and just say the same thing as everyone else.
Just go back to your crappy, full priced, buggy and unfinished AAA games filled with crappy overpriced DLC and loot boxes then and let people like me and Taylor enjoy some free mobile games from time to time.
