I bought one in March 2024. It’s an excellent well engineered product❗️With a Google Chromecast streamer, it provides great entertainment ANYWHERE as long as you have cellular WiFi service available. Has an ATSC 1.0 tuner for off-the-air reception.
I do have a few questions; How do you know it's an ips panel? I was off put when you said it was IPS then complained of viewing angles. I tried poking around, but I could not find anything telling me about the panel. Is there any difference in the power rating of the inner and outer USB a ports? Is the inner port also 5v 2amps? How is the input lag for gaming? Is it good enough for old school platformers or shooters? Also wondered about media playback through the USB. What formats does it use? (Fat32, exfat, NTFS) What codecs will it play? I saw one of these machines in Sam's yesterday so I wanted to do a bit of research. Online Sam's has it for $229 while I'm pretty sure in-store it was $209. I was also surprised the battery tech in this was lead acid. That's probably good for stability of the unit, but not great for portability. This machine clearly uses a 15.6" laptop screen. I wonder if it could be swapped out. Use cases could be camping, game day grilling in the back yard, tail gating, traveling with kids, and testing stuff while shopping Craigslist/marketplace.
I am so glad i purchased mines i have so many plans and ideas with it.
