The original uses white calf tail, nothing is whiter and easier to see that natural white calf tail. Those little foam indicators are useless. Otherwise great work you guys for tying a true Jackson hole area original

Should be called the Synthetic Salmon!
The Chubby will outifish the water walker 9 times out of 10.... a Chernobyl ant will outfish the water walker as well. Its a great patter but not nearly as effective as other patterns out there
It’s all situational. I’ve had times where this fly was king.
During salmon fly hatch, this fly is superior to ANYTHING....at least on the Upper Madison. Only difference is a mix of orange dubbing included in the wraps. Great video !! Thanks
