The Warriors, Titans and Rabbitohs are missing a swathe of players but they hung in their games even with adversity. What have the Eels players or football club built into their DNA? Very little. That's a player management issue. If you can't get players up or in the right headspace during the tough times you need to be fair dinkum and tap yourself on the shoulder.
Say "I did what I could but in the end I couldn't get them there" and frankly very few coaches could. Time to clean house.

This club has been poorly ran since 1947. We had a golden period in the early to mid 80s and thats it. Nothing before or since. This club doesn't have a winning mentality. Been that way since the beginning and an embarrassment club. The board refuses to go for GOAT coach and stick with bush league, time for another extension Brad Arthur. The fans cannot tolerate much more of this. We are fast approaching 40 years without premiership and in all honesty, I can see us beating Norths record of 78 year without a premiership before they were booted. This club doesn't know what winning looks like and until they bring in people who do, then we are simply going to remain a loser club.

Have you forgot about wat we were like before he turned up ?? Out of the 11 years we have made finals 7 times, 1 grandfinal before that wooden spoon ...and he can only coach them so much at the end of the day it's up to the players to perform we are not playing as ay team, all those 1%ers we are fukin up on just piles up on us dropping the head and sookin about it dont win games

11 years as head coach, nothing to show for it and heâs still here, why?
Probably in line for a new deal and an upgrade like Raider Ricky.. His last premiership as an NRL coach was 22 years a go with Roosters team of origin stars assembled by Graham Murray in 2001. By Canberra Raiders standards Athurs II years as head coach of Parra without a premiership means he has another 11 years of not getting the job done to go... They call it riding the gravy train... Maybe Arthurs should attack the bunker and the refs every second week like Ricky to keep the eternal 'victim' narrative burning .. Or even kick a few plastic chairs over for the cameras and stand on the cold Canberra sidelines for sympathy?? No coach should still have his NRL job after not finding a way to win a premiership for so long.. Bennet and Bellamy are the only coaches who have the right to stay on until they've done with coaching... They've earned the right....

Regardless his extension was ludicrous and purely based on favouritism by the raiders old boys.
