A'ja Wilson is clearly the best player in the WNBA, and it isn't close. Angel Reese 18 points 11 rebounds continues her WNBA rookie record of 9 straight double doubles.

I have never ever watched a wnba highlight. I came for Wilson vs Reese. This was worth it. Great game women.
Marina Mabrey with 21 pts, Chennedy Carter with 20 pts, Angel Reese with 18 pts & Lindsay Allen with 10 pts. we need for the other Sky players to show up against The Aces. fingers crossed we at least do well against The Lynx on Sunday but I'm doubtful will win that game.

The Sky issues is not scoring, it's defense. They seem to be lost sometimes with different lineups on defense. Guard defense is not good.
Carter, Reese and Mabrey can score, although Mabrey is not as consistent. Sky def3nse is the issue, but squad battled all game.

what did we expect, The Aces are one of the top teams in the W & are also the reigning two time champs for a reason. A'ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young, Chelsea Gray & Kiah Stokes were on fire tonight. at least The Sky were very competitive against them instead of it being a blowout or a beatdown.

No don't look at it that way ask yourself why they actually loss. Mis free throws .. fouling. And not playing together as well as no defense at times. No ball movement and the biggest thing is there out of shape bad
To be honest, the Sky didnât do bad considering how young they are and that they were playing against Aja Wilson and other allstars. They actually gave the Aces a good game. Angel and Kamila in that weight room will make a huge difference in a few years.
Also, Angel never backed down; she sill had a double double and 18 points.

The Sky is missing one piece and that's a floor general. They have two bigs in Angel and Kamilla. They have a shooter in Marina. They have a slasher in Chennedy. If you watched the game you'd see there were multitude possessions where Angel and Kamilla had position and if they got the ball to them they pulled them away from the basket or they couldn't get it to them at all.

Aces are a tough team to built with Chelsea Gray out there facilitating the offense. A'ja Wilson is always going to do numbers as the best player in the WNBA, but having a great floor general can make a contender into a champion.
Gotta love the growth of Angel Reese, she's really developing quickly in the league and she will definitely be trying to one day fill A'ja Wilson's shoes, as difficult or impossible a task that may be.
Two things I noticed: when Chicago guards were hot, they weren't really feeding their post to get them some early touches--when Aces played with the smaller lineup, Chicago guards specifically kept getting lost on defense
