- Mullaghmore Head is the crazy of crazy waves. It was a privilege to connect with the local crew & friends and paddle out and experience it first hand. It was terrifying, but amazing. I was blessed to catch two little waves. It's a process. What a wave, what a place, great sharing it with great crew. Hats off to the guys who charge this wave. It is a feat of great bravery & athleticism. Enjoy! GOD IS GOOD my Friends:)

So good to see and feel the terror, and yet remain steadfast that our Lord will always be there in those times. I am 71 and still surfing in NZ. Every time I enter the water I pray for courage and safety and thank God that I can hang out in the line ups with the young crew. Life is fun!!!!
Congratulations Bro, great challenge !
I'm 62 now and, more than ever, i pray our Lord to get courage and still get some overhead waves on the reef.
God bless !! 🙏💓
My mum lived in Mullaghmore. Great memories going there to see family
This is some of the best slab surfing I think Ive ever watched.
I'm pretty sure God does not want me to surf Mullaghmore.
haha me too ;)
@@D33PFUTURE and even if he tells me to, I'm not going to do it LOL
It's scary, cold, and beautiful, and those men charge and have great attitudes.
These are guys are lekker awesome🤙
Love your videos John. Had the pleasure of surfing the Bundoran area last fall - one of my favorite trips of my life. You are the kind of underground charger/local legend I aspire to be someday! Cheers from Maine USA 🤙🏼
How does one even survive that first wave. Absolutely mental
Thank God for the Crazy Irish
now or never clock ticking more like. you take the credit well done.
I still have chopes but with the size and cold water this is some crazy crazy action...well done!
Love it! See you soon!
Congrats John, you are now a big surf charger!😂❤
not so quick now:) !!!
At 48 years old I no longer hope to surf waves like that, especially after deciding to give my life to Christ..... Thank you Bro, you still give me hope. God bless you
With Abraham, God waited til he was ancient, so u never know. His ways are Higher🙌💯🕊️

Happy days 🤙😀🤙
Yo, happy birthday bro, nice, I'm praying every time i get in the water, horrid wipe out, but you survived to tackle mully another day, 4/6ft max freak for me will do thanks very much, 😅 next time you're down this way we'll break bread 😊
Praise the LORD! His creation is awesome!
Tremendous footage mate.
True awakening happens when one realizes that strength and courage comes from within ourselves. Our successes and failures are 100% on us.
Great video, thanks.
Thanks for sharing your opinion. I woke up this morning and read this, Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones,
Give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name;
Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29, written 3000 years ago. It encouraged me. Hope you enjoyed the video. thanks
So crazy boyz!
All credit to you John for being out there. From the video it just seems that you needed a yellow board to get most of the waves that day.
charging bro was good to see ya having a dig
Go John!
Heavvy!! Respect! "With God All Things Are Possible"! 🙏No broken bones or board. Gutsy! Amen brother!!! What's the depth of the water by that boil? Seems quite shallow with a 30-40ft wave.
Hi Michael. Yes, the inside of the wave gets very shallow. not a great combo, giant waves with shallow reef.. :) Shielded:) take care. j
Seems so hard to come out of that initial bottom turn and pump for needed speed, like you just got to get up the face set your rail and hope for acceleration from the wave.
Every wave is unique!! 🤙👍😀
when was this filmed
JAN 2024:)
Is that what it’s like there all year round or it’s typical for mulagmore to have giant waves?? I must go there sometime to watch the surfers in action as it’s something I’ve never seen in my life living in Ireland
Approx once a month in winter👍🕊️💯🙌😀
@@CliffsofHope thanks , looks unreal.
In which part of the world is the scariest wave?
Walpole, Western Australia
That is great stoked on God. 😊
