I am pretty sure the screaming scene is Ellie getting her chemical burn. Being out of her clothes would be safer because of the amount of rinsing you have to do with chemicals, you don’t want that splashing on you at all. I’m pretty sure the hand placed on her shoulder is Maria’s, for comfort. So I would assume she’s in Joel’s house with him, Tommy, and Maria, so that she can do the burn and then immediately receive the medical care and support from them.
Is it confirmed that Catherine O'Hara is a therapist? I have a feeling they're doing with this what they did with the game and inserting Joel into a spot later where he isn't actually going to be. I could be wrong if it was confirmed, but it looks like she's the prophet, maybe in the past or maybe in the present, talking to someone about cult-related things, and they used the scene where Joel is talking to Tommy about what he did at the hospital.

When part 2 released, I was probably like you and hated it, now 4 years later I'm replaying it, losing someone close to me made me realise this game isn't a game about revenge but a game about forgiveness, like like Last of us 1 isn't a game about a zombie cure but about learning to trust and love, everything in part 2 could've been fixed if Abby tried to forgive Joel or if Ellie tried to forgive Abby or Joel. I think overhall it was a really good game.

Joel imo did nothing wrong at the end of the first game (before all of the bs retcons), he wiped out a terrorist cell and killed the man who was going to butcher a child. The story is just gross to me, and indicative of Naughty Dog post Amy Hennig
@@bostonpride1717 For our perspective Joel did nothing wrong of course, but for Abby, Joel wiped her whole groupe (The Fireflies) killed her dad and made impossible the making of a vaccine for the cordycep impossible now

one of my guesses for the scene at 3:44 is that its after the lodge 🏌🏻♀ scene and ellie's chest is bandaged bc she broke a rib or something during that. it would be so great (i.e. incredibly painful) to have just a bit more of the immediate aftermath
The door and window behind her is the exact same window as St. Mary Hospital, the man in the hallway looks like a Firefly soldier, the man running towards her bed is most likely a doctor (Jerry arriving after being called by Owen , and the woman who's holding her shoulder has been confirmed to be Marlene. This is the Fireflies running tests on Ellie

Personally I was hoping for Cascina Caradonna to play Dana (she was the face of Dana) but I think Isabella will do a wonderful job

Her last name is pronounced Dee-ver. But it’s hard to not even think of the other way as i’ve been saying it that way for a long time.

Respectfully, that isn't the only criticism of Part 2. It was purposefully divisive and imo awful.
