I met Teemu last week in South America since he's touring with Megadeth. What a great and nice guy. It would be amazing to have Wintersun touring here.

I haven't looked forward to an album as much as Time II in a long, long time. Even from the samples, you can hear what a masterpiece this is going to be. The atmosphere alone is unbelievable.

Hey guys, thx for sharing, still watching. I love Finnish music since almost 20 years and Wintersun is one of my favorites. I went last year to Finland, Helsinki as the source of my favorite music, went in a Wintersun Shirt to the Music museum at Pasila Station - Finnish music Hall of Fame. Saw there many of my favorites but no Wintersun??!! Omg. I hope this will change soon. Definitely deserved.

I haven’t watched it all, but I feel like nobody is asking if we’ll hear Kai on the coming albums and whether or not we can get Kai drums on a new version of The Forest Seasons anytime in the future.
Kai is one of the best metaldrummer in the world, and even unpreppared Kai recording is better than a drum machine.

If you like mountains, glaciars and forests you must come to the south of Argentina! (Neuquen, Chubut, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego) Also the north has a different beautiful mountains landscapes (Jujuy, Salta, La Rioja, San Juan)
Y’all may have thought about this but I’m sure there are established or up and coming bands who would be quite willing to put in deposits to record or mix at Wintersun HQ, and this could certainly chip in towards the costs of keeping the situation stable. Hell I would be among those if I lived over there.

Hey Jari! Which version from the package will be used to press the vinyl? the dynamic, the loud and modern? or you'll provide unique vinyl mix/mastering version just for that?
The official and original loud one, but I don't know if the Nuclear Blast will do something to it. They are the experts when it comes to the vinyl. I believe you might have to ensure the needle doesn't jump from the subfrequencies, etc.

Just got bayerdynamic dt880 250 ohm pros + amp for listening time 2. absolutely nuts sounding details in the previous albums too. can't wait to hear the high quality tracks when time 2 is out🤘 people don't know why it takes so long to produce these albums, they really need to hear the songs with better quality!

Can anyone tell me what is the very best way to get all the sound quality these special WAV 24-bit files can provide? Should my new computer come with an upgraded sound card? Do I need an external D-A converter? This release is important enough to me that I want to give it the best technology to reach my ears in all its potential glory.
Any Windows or macOS computer can play WAV and MP3 files. You need a music player app. There are free ones. Macs come with their default app called "Music" (which used to be called iTunes). Windows, I believe, comes with "Windows Media Player" (but you might need to download a codec for it, I'm not sure what the situation is with Windows today, as I haven't used it in years). You don't need an external DA converter. For example, my other "office setup" Mac is just the small Genelec 8010 connected directly to the Mac (and using the Mac's own DA conversion), and it sounds good. Of course, an audio interface is recommended if you want to upgrade and refine the sound more. There are plenty of options out there from RME, SSL, Focusrite, etc. Even the cheapest ones sound great these days. Personally, I love the Universal Audio's Apollo interfaces, but they are a bit more expensive. And, of course, the bigger the monitors/speakers, the bigger the sound, but the room and room acoustics play a big part with monitors. Too big monitors in a small room are not great. Headphones can be a great option too for enjoying music. We mentioned some in the Podcast, like HD650, Focal Radiance, and Focal Clear Pro... Hope that helps! - Jari
