We live in Calpe, and came down to Benidorm on Wednesday and walked the two beaches. We stopped outside and were looking at the work in progress on the Delfin !! Looks fantastic !!

Again an excellent video Lucy, amazing project with fantastic views plus the amenities. Seems there is lots of private/public finance being invested in Benidorm, hotel refurbs, street furniture/lighting the Square is it a million€ project comes to mind from a video. Looks like there are some big changes coming to Benidorm👍

It looks very high on the first stop you did going up was high enough, but the next bit was even more amazing. Not really
sure if I would want to be that high up, even with the fantastic views. Of course it will be better when it’s enclosed, you were a bit exposed to the elements.

Hands up to ya Luce ....that was high , I used to be a sign fitter and have been up high fitting signage ,but that scaffolding seemed well dodgy ....nice place ,going to have to come to Benidorm at some point ,stay safe girl....👍🇬🇧

Brilliant video again Lucy although my tummy did go a bit wobbly when you where at the top, great views though. Could you find out why the Spanish builders use those hollow terracotta bricks though as they don't look all that strong to me (I'm sure they are though) just curious as they are so different to the Bricks used in the UK, now there's a challenge.
Also is the 'Cheeky Monkey' bar still going ? just down from the bottom end of the Yellow Brick Road, if so say hello to Paula & Dave for me.
hiya, no idea about the bricks i really wouldn't be able to tell the difference to be honest hahaha cheeky monkey is still there as is all the signage is still up but I'm not aure if they will reopen or not, giess time will tell on that one x
Those bricks are european standard for inside or no load-bearing walls . Because of the perforations (20 % ) they are bigger so .. faster to work with . But most importent for Spain : they are ideal for temperature isolation . All this information you could find on the internet .

It looks lovely. However I prefer to tow my caravan from UK to Beni and stay at Raco or one of the many camping sites. You get to know far more people this way.

Hi Lucy, loving your videos keeping up with the gossip in benidorm. Do you know anything about the cultural centre which is in Ave Europa, and backs on to the yellow brick road. I was in Rio park hotel about 10 years ago and they were working on it then, but nothing for years. I did hear they were going to finish it, but who knows. All the best.

Lucy - I stayed at the Torredorada Hotel for at least 9 years up to 2019. How much is an apartment in the Delphin Tower. I used to see it every day on my walks. from early Jan to April.

no it's an apartment block, new hotel being built opposite Presidente
Delfin Tower will be only for the buyers. The vacation rental will be prohibited. There will be other incredible hotels like Intempo Residential Sky Resort or Benidorm Beach. You can search them online.
In this luxury buildings the vacation rental will not be prohibited
