Why do people have to write negative comments? If you aren't a fan of something, move along. Why put someone's hard work and ideas down. Not nice! I admire these creative people.

You are so right Deanna! I applaud you! 👏 I say, people who put others down are living a BITTER LIFE! They have nothing nice about themselves, so of course, they have nothing good in their heart! So sad! When I don't like something, I simply keep going.
Hometalk don’t let all the negative comments get you down. I make stuff all the time, both ideas were creative and different and that’s a good thing.

I like the basket, myself , I would have left it black, I paint all my flower pots and trellis black because I like the way it makes the colors of the flowers more vibrant

The small black cable ties at DT work great as well
I'm lazy, so definitely black zip ties and spray paint for the basket. Liked the end resukt tho. Would rather buy a nice planter and use it as a gift basket rather than the garden hose. Thanks for sharing! 🤗

I’m sorry but the hose basket is ridiculous when you could buy a basket at the dollar tree that looks a ton nicer. Just my opinion. Not meant to be cruel in any way.
And the first basket could have been spray painted in like 2 minutes.

The hose just doesn't work for me or the basket...
I didn't like either of the baskets. Sometimes home talk has good ideas, but some of them can be quite strange. I think they try too hard to come up with new ideas at times.

Nope....looks like a reject from the trailer park. For the same amount of $ you can get something nicer at the Dollar General type store

I wanted to respond to you. Yeah anyone can a basket from the dollar store or any store but it's not the same if you make it that's something special and the dollar store don't sell that. And I'm not trying to be mean either.
@@kimlee5921 I think you are responding to the wrong person. If you read my post, you'll see I said nothing of the sort. While I may not felt it was a DIY for me personally, I was still supportive of her.
Very silly and unattractive. For the money you pay for these parts you can go to a thrift store and buy a nice basket. Also hose are expensive, not a good use. The craftsmanship is not that great. This was a huge fail in my opinion.
